Well all I can say on our match is that you have to work on your positioning. Also getting block on all dinos will help a lot.
You have six ST4 players and one ST5, basically it should be easy bashing the opposing team. By careful positioning of skinks you can eve further improve your bash potential and in the same time have them close to snatch the ball and run away if the opportunity arises.

You could watch Rod's replays from the first season, if I remember correctly he didn't lose one game.

Considering our match you had the bad luck running into a team that was developed to counter a lizard team. Two of my guys have +1ST, most players have claw, all the warriors have block, claw, tackle and the minotaur is a killing machine.

just general advice - try to make certain skinks are not base-to-base contact with opponents players unless its really needed- They are stunty and thus get killed easily.

On the other hand the saurus you want to keep there in middle of enemies - st4 + av9, thats what they are made to do. You just need to have block and then either guard or MB to make things more "interesting" for your opponent.

If the sauruses get hurt with av9, its just bad luck really. once you start getting more block on them, youll see they will perform far better.

i believe i have posted it before, but: http://www.plasmoids.dk/bbowl/playbooks/Lizardmen.pdf
Just to be sure, do you gain anything from an autowin? I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get any spp, but do you get any money, or that also is forfeit? Do my injuried players recover?
as Stevie85 has left the league and it seems he is not going to be replaced, just wanted to be sure
Roaring Rampage vs Brok'd Nose Brigade ended in a sloppy 0-0 draw.

Both coaches had problems with rolls of some sort throughout the whole match, Definitely was not for those looking for a blockbuster game.

that was...
probably the most entertaining no luck game i've ever played.

usually I either feel frustrated wtf, or feel sorry for my opponent, but this time, both our luck was equally horribad!

For him:
8 really stupid rolls on the troll.
Both down reroll into both down.
has to watch his players get punted from the field.
KOS and Injuries!
ball knocked off field landed on endzone, preventing me from any chance of scoring.

For me:
3~4 double red skulls, and one triple red skull blocks
0 casualty
turn 16 interception + successful short pass with a dwarf. (wut?)
hobgobbo's passing the ball! (without successful catches)

if treeman didn't have that stupid and came from nowhere 'stand up' roll, i would be mighty tempted to play them.

You get a total of 16SPP (2 MVPs + 2 TDs) and you also get double the money and your injured players recover normally.

It would be nice if everybody could ask around to see if we can replace the two players someday though.
Just wanted to remind everyone that my match with Zeta will start in about an hour and that Ill be streaming and commenting it on my channel twitch.tv/crowtaur so don't miss it!
Hey there, has anyone seen Judas? Kamica is waiting for him, the game was supposed to start 25 minutes ago.

I have PMed Kamica just a few minutes ago :)
Oh my god that was one of the most frustrating games EVER. I am not sure what was going on but I was having major frame rate drops throughout the entire match followed by bad dice rolls and bad placing on my part :/

Kamica played a solid game all around so grats go to her :)

edit: I was also seeing all of the players' uniforms in white :/

The match between Mo'ar Dakka! and The Armored Seagulls ended with 2-1 after a critical fail of the now pretty useless "fumble-fingers" skill that is "Sure hands" in the second to last turn of the seagulls enabeling the orcs to win.

It was a crazy game, with lots of interesting situations and moving the ball around became quite an endavour for both teams. However the orcs benefited greatly that the Seagulls lost their ogre in the first turn, which made it even harder to fight against a Troll and Morg'n'Thorg. The star player ended up being a huge threat on the board and even managing a few critical dodges and pick ups. The seagulls managed to score their first touchdown after a risky play where the ballcarrier was attempting to jump into a cage and failing the go for its (because I just live IN THE DANGER ZONE). The human player just needed to pick it up and throw it across the field which he promptly did without much trouble.

But the second half proved difficult for the humans with them having to burn their rerolls on red skull rolls, go for its and dodges quite fast. Also HULKAMANIA was pronounced when the Orc Thrower, Hulk Hogan, managed to injure a level 3 blitzer with Block, Dodge and the always dreaded sidestep (thogu hthrough my fault I forgot to blitz), but the touchdown was scored the next turn in any case leading to an equaliser, that turned into a win for the orcs due to the above mentioned "fumble fingers".

All in all it was a really great game and a lot of fun while talking to my opponent over skype.

The match between Natural Disaster and the Misfits ended in a 1-1 tie. Piranjade scored the equalizer with her very last move, after spending her very last re-roll to fix a failed dodge.

This match was very intense for both players. There wasn't that much carnage on the pitch (though that happened as well, including a permanent injury for my second thrower, and kamikaze goblins running right into my cage and throwing one-die blocks at my ball carrier), but _tactically_ a lot was going on in that match.

I had the upper hand through most of the match, thanks to a very successful fireball. It caused a casualty, sent two more players down, and left her ball carrier without any protection. It completely wrecked Piranjade's drive, since it was relatively easy for me to obtain the ball afterwards, and I managed to score.

Piran had only one turn left in the first half, so I chose a deep defense to protect against a one-turn touchdown by a thrown goblin. Then a riot caused the referee to add turns, so she now had two had two turns to score against a defense that was completely out of line for that situation. My kicker had kicked the ball very deep into her field though, and in the end my defense prevent an equalizer.

In the second half, I was receiving, but two of my players failed to recover (for the second time, they had already failed after my touchdown). Therefore, and since I was in the lead, I wasn't pressing for the second touchdown, but instead tried to play a careful drive. I kept looking for a gap in Piran's defense, and also had one of my wardancers posted as a wide receiver, but her defense seemed impossible to penetrate. I did see chances to break through, but all of them would have left my ball carrier exposed, and I did not want that.

So I zipped my cage around the pitch and kept looking for a gap in Piran's defense, while Piran tried to break my cage again and again. She succeeded right after I decided to make a break with one more player.

Time was running short for her, but she protected her ball carrier well. I still managed to block him, but the ball scattered right into the hands of her lineman - one of the two options where it really, really shouldn't have gone. ;) I tried my best to make scoring difficult for him, but he got through my defense, scored, and became MVP.

My own MVP points, btw, went to a player who is strength-reduced, armor-reduced, and movement-reduced, and whom I only keep as sacrificial fodder for the line of scrimmage. He now got a level-up. I wonder what to do with him. ;) (I probably should have replaced him much earlier, but I just don't have the heart.)

All in all, one of the most engaging matches I've had so far! Here is the replay.
