ANNOUNCEMENT:

We Admins just had a group chat and have decided the following.

1. We are very sad that Michal/kanarek (and his Goblin bookmaker) cannot be present for the play-offs but we don't want to put the league on hold for so long. :-(
Therefore the 5th of the second division will enter the play-offs. (The match in question between Zeta and E_A is going on right now.)

2. We have decided to use Spiralling Expenses next season (page 29 of the BB rule book). They will start at TV 1800 and then increase in steps of 140 (so the next step would be at TV 1940).

3. The sign-ups for season 3 will close on the 4th of October. Which means you have until then to decide whether you want to play in season 3 or not.
We will still have one game per week.
We will also have two divisions again. That leads (due to the set-up of the game which doesn't like uneven numbers and has trouble with dummy teams) to the league needing to have a number of coaches that can be divided by 4.
Currently we have 23 coaches signed-up for season 3.
We can play with 20, 24, 28 and so on.
It's all on a first come, first serve basis. For example if we reach 25 coaches, the 25th coach will be put into reserve and 24 coaches enter the third season.

4. We still cannot say for sure when the new season will start, it all depends on the play-offs.

alright, that's a -3 tackle zone on that catch on turn 11 throw.

you need a 4+, -3, +1 = 6... that's a 1/6 chance of succeeding that catch.

guard + st4 = proper synergy.

I have updated rules for frozen matches and not being able to play in playoffs + possible no-shows during playoffs.

Oh well. Sorry I wasn't faster. I was too hyper last night to do serious stuff and Macheted Zombies instead ;-).

From my end this was a glorious match. Everything an ardent elven player is hoping for. That AG6 decision paid off in spades.

The crowning move of the evening was probably George "Elfelf" Arvanitis dodging into four (!) tackle zones, picking up the ball and throwing it halfway across the field to safety. You will never feel safe again >:D.

Oh yeah and the 12-squares pass to my forward blitzer after stopping his designated scorer deep in my own half was also a very welcome sight :-D.

The only downside is an -1AG on my new (and just levelled) Witch Elf. The team has made it known the next advertising guy putting up posters for Piran's "apothecary advanced education" courses will be tortured to death in traditional Dark-Elf style.
