The Armored Seagulls bent, but never broke in a wild 2-1 game against the Hamburg Hammerfists.

Sweltering heat made this game quite the challenge as we lacked a lot of key positional players in one form or another during any drive.

The Seagulls were very fortunate to have gotten the win in this one. Hanno played an insanely good match and I was lucky to have gotten some very critical rolls at just the right time.

We're shocked to say we're still in the playoff hunt this late in the season. But we're not done yet. Next week, we're gonna hopefully shut those Talking Dead up in next week's action and get one step closer to the playoffs.

Just out of curiosity please take a look at the replay, round 11 of the seagulls. I'm talking about the move of the Blitzer with guard. In my opinion it's a dodge out of a tackle zone into two tackle zones, correct? That means, with agi 3, a roll of 6 is needed (4+ for agi3 plus two tackle zones), correct? The dodge succeeds with a 5, and I don't understand why. I thought the -1 is only applied if someone is dodging into a free field, not out of a tackle zone into tackle zones?

To prevent misunderstandings: I got no problem with someone taking a risk with a move and getting a TD out of it. I just want to understand the game mechanics correctly.

No. You get +1 just for making a dodge roll (table on page 8). The tackle zone modifiers are added on in addition to that.

Ok, then it's only 5+, not 6+ as I assumed. One never stops learning...

Well, it's official. I won't be able to play this week. Part of the problem is me having my exams right now, other part is me being stupid and not contacting my opponent at once.
So, I apologize and promise to do better next week, and I'm totally ok with counting that as a no-show for this week.

Seems I didn't have to worry about keeping the Nurgle for the next season, but more about the Nurgles keeping me.
My track record as a coach is not awesome right now :/
