I would like to say that the whole "block when you should blitz" thing is a mistake you only make once.
Unfortunately I have proved that that isn't true.
Personally, I would have blocked with the beastmen first to clear the way for the warrior to just stroll over the line.

Congrats on getting rid of Brash'nagor.
He had to go :)

Red Lantern (Dwarves; 1-0-2) - Wheredemons (Necro; 0-0-3)
Snow-white will be proud of her little guys. Dwarves will win 1-0, but one of them will be gravely wounded.

Anti-Anemia Alliance (Vam; 2-0-1) - Misfits (Under; 2-0-1)
Hungry vampires will feed today, but they will forget the ball. Some goblins won´t survive the feast, but the over-abundance of arms will bring vitory to underworld team. 3-1 in favor of the Misfits.

Twisted Elves (WoodE; 0-0-3) - Big & heavy fists (Ogre; 2-0-1)
Those elves are showing us some love for the twisted woods and roots. Will they finally show love to the ball? BHF will have to work hard to win, but they will. 2-1 for ogres.

Talking Dead (Necro; 1-2-0) - Nagarythe Decadence (DarkE; 0-0-3)
The ritual bloodbath and sacrifice of 12 halfings finally paid off. Decadence will storm over the dead-again undead team. 3-0 for elves

The Armored Seagulls (Humam; 2-0-1) - Screams of Frogs (Lizz; 2-0-1)
Tickets for this match were sold in instance. Tadpole fans are all over the country. Sadly games are not win by cheering, unless you have solid rocks. Missing saurus and str up on blitzer will bring victory to humans. 2-1

We are not fluffy birds (Human 2-1-0) - Hamburg Hammerfists (Dwarves; 2-1-0)
Dwarves from Hamburg have a difficult opponent to overcome this round and they will have to use some uncommon tactics to stand a chance. But even the fastest dwarf runner of the year won´t save them. Fluffies by 1 TD.

Natural Disaster (WoodE; 1-0-2) - Nurgle Lymphocytes (Nurgle; 2-0-1)
This match will be fun folks. Have you ever seen 3 dead elves in one match? Tips are that only 3 elves will be able to stand at the end of the game. Nurgle team by 2 TD and tons of broken bones.

I'll do my best. Lizards have been a stumbling point for me and my human teams, hopefully that ends today. Hand me a skaven squad, and I can do well against those lizards.

A tightly contested match ends in a narrow 2-1 victory for The Armored Seagulls.

This game had quite a bit of everything. Wizard uses, useless apothecaries, sweltering heat, injuries, the works. Got very lucky with the dice as the game went on, as it started out rough. A late TD in turn 15 sealed the deal, but it was still an intense affair to say the least.

Gary Flamingo had an impressive debut, injuring the Kroxigor very early.

Warner Tuccan was injured and now has a fractured skull. As he is out the next game, management is presently debating the fate of this blocking lineman.

Douglas Sparroew leveled up though, and his Side Step could come into play nicely.

The team is already excited about their prospects for the next match against Natural Disaster.

EDIT...and I realized my inexperience as a I had a doubles roll and went for a base skill. Could've had Nerves of Steel. X_X

I'm always a bit worried playing Moggrym's Amazons.
Almost the whole team has block & dodge.
And I only had 1 tackle player.
However, I do have Brachio Saurus, the amazing intercepting lizard :D
AG1 is just built for interceptions!!!
My lizards were clearly being gentlemen, pulling their punches against the ladies.
I managed a lot of KO's but nothing worse.
The zons felt no such compunction however, badly hurting 2 skinks.
Even with all the damage they were doing, they couldn't break my line though and the game ended 2-0 to me.
