Saw it before this morning but didn't take any notice of it. Under "Favourite topics and received replies" the amount of "pages" is one more than the amount of post made in that thread: See attached image

It's been doing that for ages. For some reason it replaces the number of pages with the number of posts in favourited topics...

A fairly minor bug as GoG bugs go, since the links still work correctly.
It's been doing that ever since the introduction of the archive.
GoG's being funny this way all the time :)
This ISN'T a bug. The no on the left represents TOTAL no of post in the thread INCLUDING OP while the no on the right represents REPLIES which is TOTAL no of post in the thread LESS OP. Just thought i shd clarify. ;)

Edit: I think someone shd inform Support of this discrepancy (as in the 'p' in favourite reflects total no of post instead of pages as described in the status bar. Although I have to agree based on the description it does seem to be a bug indeed, I do feel the 'p' can be interpreted as either 'post' or 'pages'. As such, I dun see it as a bug initially, Thks to Wishbone & HypersomniacLive for pointing this out. :)

GoG is always funny.

Funnier when your games disappear.

No, it's a bug, and as Grargar said it's been around since the introduction of the archive. You just don't understand what it is the OP is pointing out.

It is a bug. The number in parenthesis next to the thread title counts the number of pages a thread has, which works as should only for non-favourite threads ever since the forum archive was introduced.

Just take a closer look at your favourite and non-favourite threads.

Yes I understand, the link is written in the status bar as 'pages' but they reflected the no of post instead. My thinking was the 'p' could have meant no of post instead of 'pages' so if that's the case then I dun see it as a bug. :)

I did take a closer look but as far as I'm concern the 'p' in favourite & non-favourite could mean different things. However, I do think it's a little strange that 1 would reflect total no of post while the other reflects total no of pages. Thks for pointing it out. :)

You don't use the same GUI elements on the same page with completely different meanings. It just isn't done, because that would be unbelievably stupid. Also, as has been pointed out, the favourite threads worked the same as the normal threads until the archive was introduced. Furthermore, I (and probably others) have reported the bug to GOG, who have admitted that it's a bug. Apparently they just can't be arsed to do anything about it.

Well, I guess that solves the qn. Not too sure it it's stupid or not but as I said earlier, as far as with regards to ME it can mean diff things for all I care so I was thinking if I dun even care abt it neither does GoG support apparently then. Lol.

Check back in about ten years, that bug might be fixed by then. ;)
