All of yesterday I was trying to purchase Divinity Original Sin 2 with my cash app card but it would not go through. Today I used a Paypal card, a debit card, credit card, google pay none of these payment methods will work on my account it all flags divinity or gog as suspicious since it's based in another country. I want to get this game while it's on sale.

Sometimes when you use multiple cards our system can mark the payments as "Fraud", so you were not able to make new payments. You should be able to make them now ;-)

Really? This is now much too late for the winter sale... but maybe it is now possible for me to add to my wallet. Not sure I am interested anymore and was only going to add a miniscule sum anyway.

How is it shown to the user?

Since a couple weeks, I can no longer buy games on GOG, and I do use a different card number each time. But the message that is shown when the payment fails tells me that the issue is on the side of my bank.

When it happened to me, I did have to call my bank. They had changed some policy or something regarding overseas payments which triggered the block. I tried to used the credit card as soon as the bank unblocked it and same error.

Turns out the 1st bank agent forgot to make clear one important detail. I had to wait 8 hours before I could use that same card. It was a 2nd agent that let me know about it. Guess it shows which agent had the more experience.

Don't worry, once a game reaches a certain discount price, it usually comes around to that same discount price in future sales. Though there are exceptions to that with some games. DOS2 I don't think will be that exception.
