If you have been carefully following our main page, you have seen tens of interviews and editorial pieces we’ve posted over the years. Many of these articles garnered quite a lot of attention from you, fellow gamers, yet after some time they eventually faded to obscurity. That’s why we’ve decided to create a hub that will let us not only post our editorials from the past but also present you with more interesting video game content in the future.

Visit our blog to read articles from the past about the cult Blade Runner game from Westwood Studios or the legendary FPS Quake that celebrated its 25th anniversary lately. You’ll also find some new editorials on our blog. For example, a piece about the Bioshock games or an interesting bio of Michel Ancel, the creator of the Rayman series. Now you can enjoy all these articles both as a nostalgic blast from the past or as inspiration for the next gaming session!

As for the future of the blog, we would like to continue posting engaging articles there, highlighting classic and new games, as well as both AAA and indie titles. Of course, to create such a place of gaming content, we need your precious feedback. So, please visit the blog, and let us know in the comment section below this post, what type of content you would like to see on our blog in the upcoming months.

I think this was a bad idea to mention considering that the Enhanced Edition never made it here. Mind you, I'm not blaming GOG here, the blame goes to Nightdive.
I really like the idea, and think it is nice to revisit some of the old news posts (well, the ones with actual text). By the way, you might want to add a link to the corresponding forum thread, as otherwise the posts ending with Let us know in the comments below! become slightly nonsensical.

However, I have found at least two bugs:

One bug is that when visiting the blog, the top bar only contains the GOG logo but nothing else (I would have expected it to be identical to the top navigation bar on e.g. the front page).

The other problem is that if I go to the bottom of the page (on https://www.gog.com/blog/) and click “Load more posts”, then it just adds a giant amount of blank space below. If I then scroll down and click “Load more”, then it adds even more blank space and scrolling all the way down gives the same content as the top of the page except that the formatting is weird.

Nah-uh, blame goes to Betheseda, NIghtdive would be more than happy to release it here.
Bethesda want´s to add new content to it and use it as an incentive for their own launcher, but eventually it should end up here, when it's novelty will wear off.

Ehm... why not integrate the blog in the Community tab though?

I believe their launcher is pretty much dead and buried since the MS acquisition.

maybe I'm being nitpicky but following a blog without a feed isn't a trivial task

GOG.com: So, please visit the blog
Wouldn't it help to do that, if the Blog was anchored to the top bar of GOG.com?

I mean, add it as a menu point under "Community" or so.

Even better, of course, if it was added under its own entry to the top bar.

Exactly - as will this thread.

What's the difference between this thread (which will sink down into the forum's abyss), and the "tens of interviews and editorial pieces, posted over the years", which came before it?

Yes, please add an RSS feed!
Could some effort be put into producing better RSS entries? The blog is particularly bad in that it just has the headlines. Typically there's a hero image and an introductory paragraph or *something* to attract attention to the post.

Spread the blame. Bethesda/Nightdive didn't brought it here, but in the Quake forum we were promised the new version just to be left with radio silence afterwards.

So yeah, blame for everyone.
As others have said, it needs an RSS feed! That was the first thing I tried to do was subscribe to it
Cool! Will there be a link to the blog from the main page?
This is interesting but if you don´t want that the blog faded to obscurity we need an entry in the main page, doesn´t it?

Galaxy still crashes and fails to update.
No link to it from top nav or footer nav.
