Gloomhaven is one of my most anticipated releases (currently in EA on Steam).

Gloomhaven trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbLkfBTSFq4

I've tried to connect with the developers via multiple routes in order to get word on whether they might eventually come to GOG to no avail. I'd hoped they might at least respond with "we're exploring options," but no. ;(

In your opinion will Gloomhaven make it to GOG? IMHO it seems like a perfect game to sit alongside Mordheim City of the Damned on GOG

I hope it does at least as the full release. I'd like to think there is a chance since GOG has a few "board game" games sold here already and has been getting a great amount of big titles/brands this year so far.
Yes, it would be nice to see it here. I have the boxed version with expansion and it is good.

Very cool. Did you back Frosthaven?
Actually with that a small expected playerbase i don't think they will come to GoG unless settled with a firm base....

Read many dev accounts about how piracy really bankrupted their smaller games. Talks about 90% server load and 10 paying registered players for example

Of course hackers won't be stopped drm free or not but i can imagine some perceive this as an extra risk instead of a solid revenu chance

I forgot 'bout the game to be honest, almost made an early acces purchase but some negative reviews, content wise , and me literally knowing nothing 'bout this game made me postpone

It would be nice to see something fantasy based succeed though on this plane. Gears and the new Xcom did reasonab le, for some reason people would add wasteland 3 also to this line of games so i'll mention that one too as a solid sale not to mention Othercide.... It will be difficult to compete against those 4 or... they migth be in luck and release when most are done with the previous mentioned and looking for a new kick

edit:

not to mention that other cartoony fantasy thing that just EA'd too

Dropping as much votes on the corresponding wishlist entry as possible might help:

Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I'm not really clear on what it is. I mean, is it primarly aimed at multi or single player? Is there a story-based campaign? Are the dungeons randomly generated? I love fantasy themed board games and turn based tactical RPGs, but I'm not really sure if this is my cup of tea.

Currently, the EA access game is solely single player "adventure mode" which is a mode with no storyline where you travel to various towns and dungeons that are procedurally generated.

When the game full releases, a "campaign mode" will be released that can be played either single player or co-op.

Here's an excerpt from Gloomhaven's Steam EA site:

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access we will be adding more playable characters, items, enemies, bosses and environments to our Adventure Mode, alongside features such as Character Perks and Ability Enhancements. We plan to bring all the content from the original board game — and even more with digital exclusive enemies and bosses.
Isaac Childres, designer of the original board game, has been closely involved in the development and design of the digital adaptation, with every artistic and design choice personally vetted by him.
At full launch, we will deliver the complete board game campaign experience to the digital edition as well as the highly anticipated and requested multiplayer coop mode.
If you have purchased the early access, all additional full launch content will be free.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the launch of Early Access, you will get 4 playable characters, 9 enemy classes—with both standard and elite variants—and 3 bosses to take on, all through our roguelike Adventure mode. The Adventure Mode will have you explore an entirely new map created with the assistance of Isaac Childres, completing dungeons, visiting towns and eventually, fighting epic bosses.”

I didn’t no, currently I am still pending my battle of five armies collectors box set and I can’t have to much out waiting. Will be getting it around the time of release though depending on what happens in the world generally.
Just in case anyone wants to add to the wishlist (please do!)...

Very much looking forward to this, but considering my backlog I never really play early access. I'd guess there's a good chance it comes here when it actually releases, but we'll see.
