Keep getting a notification about a reply to a comment I made in a recent post, but the arrow shortcut to take me to it is not there, and after looking through the thread it appears no one has actually replied to it. ??

edit: May 29. Still happening. Get that little circle indicating forum reply, click, all it does is show me the threads I've posted in, not where the response is. So if you've responded to something and I haven't responded back, it's because I really don't feel like fishing through all those posts to find it. Sorry!

I think it's an effect of disappearing (deleted) posts in the thread. Messing with the numbered posts sequence.

Look at the url the arrow points to, check the post number, and go manually seek the post of the same number in the thread.

You may also try changing number of posts per topic page and check again. Sometimes helps..

Well, that's one of the things: there is no arrow anymore. Used to take you directly to the response, but there was no arrow, which is why I looked through the whole thread, which was only six pages long. Nothing.

Hm. Maybe someone answered you without quoting you. Or even used your post's "reply" button to make a new post in the thread, with no intent to address you in particular ?

No idea, but this time, with your reply, the arrow was there and took me right to it. Weird.
