BUMPS: Torment of Numenera
Weekly BUMP!
Numenera: BUMPs of Torment
Weekly BUMP!
One life is like one rogue planet soaring briefly through our solar system. It can touch almost nothing at all, but affect everything drastically.
Generous giveaway, +1, and thanks to the bumpers as well!

A life can matter more than people realize. I think of it as the It's a Wonderful Life effect, since The Butterfly Effect was forever ruined by the movie of the same name. You just never realize how many ways you impact the world around you on a daily basis, for good or bad.

Weekly BUMP!
Nordom: Attention; Morte. I have a question. Do you have a destiny? A purpose?

Morte: Is Annah still wearing clothes?

Nordom: Affirmatory.

Morte: Then the answer is yes.

count me in.

life mater because you just matter. i don't think you don't matter. it s all what you think. or i could be more scientific balance about how we balance out the world. or aliens could of put us here for a reason Because if games can make people into cold blooded killers then why cant there be aliens.
Another week, another BUMP. Will the torment never end?

This is the kind of thing which I hope won't be lost in Numenera. While an adult game with consequences and that stuff is cool, I don't want to have adult=depressing. I want that twinkle in the eye.
Life is always precious - the day that even one life does not matter is a day we should all fear - look at what happened in Nazi Germany and Stalanist Russia! The fact that a single life does matter is at the basis of all democracies.

p.s. unless of course your talking about a game life and your on the last level of super mario and you have 20 lives then it may not be that important except in gaining a perfect record - but if you only have one left then it's vitally important ;-)
