No need for account in Renegade X. There's Join Game, Join IP and Create server (that needs IP forwarding of course). Sadly, it's heavenly based on win libs, but I'm going to try it on Linux anyway.

Also found w3dhub.com with more support for games in the same universe, but only win installation there too.

How about cncnet.org and openra.net (both for Win, Linux, and MAC) seeing as rts is allowed?

I know we're not big on multiplayer here, but hopefully this can spin off into a "game lounge" thread were we can set up some multiplayer action / evenings.

I don't know how many multiplayer games I have, but back when I was console gaming I loved to get together with some of the people from a forum I went to and spend some quality time blowing each other up.

Some people really only seem to be interested in prizes and for those I guess certain conditions have to be arranged.

I gave one person several hours and several games to beat me and when he finally did it was because he found a game that just didn't run properly on my system. When I arranged a game for him with someone able to run it properly he already ran off. Not the spirit I have hoped for to be honest.

My server isn't made for this GA but vice versa.
I have made the Discord some time ago as a hub for DRM-free multi-player and this GA is just there to promote it.
Co-op gaming is strongly encouraged over there.

Question :

I just downloaded Megaman 8bit deathmatch and find out it's a doom game that comes with zandorum engine. Since I'm on Linux I downloaded Linux version of zandorum. But I can't make it run. Anyone has instructions for running it using Linux zandorum?

Honestly, I would rather play for fun rather than receiving a prize. The prize can come in later as a bonus. I'll pm.
