A musical action-adventure set in the recesses of the human mind? That’s Figment! And until March 9th, 5 PM UTC, you can add this awesome game to your library for free!

Figment is an excellent action-adventure puzzle game presenting a strange and surreal world; a place filled with our deepest thoughts, urges and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads. While this place has been quiet and calm for some time now, new thoughts have started to emerge – taking the shape of nightmarish creatures who spread fear wherever they go.

We have to join Dusty – the mind's former voice of courage – and his ever-optimistic friend, Piper, on an adventure through the different sides of the mind, solving puzzles to set things straight, beating back the nightmares and seeking to restore the courage that's been lost.

It is the perfect time to claim this story-rich, atmospheric gem and explore its beautiful, whimsical and hand-drawn world, as its sequel – Figment 2: Creed Valley will be soon available on GOG!

We will once again embark on an adventure with Dusty and Piper and make our way through puzzles, musical boss fights and unique environments. Nightmares have shattered the Moral Compass, making The Mind unable to function properly. Traveling to the titular Creed Valley, a place where The Mind’s ideals are formed, is our way to try to restore peace.

Claim Figment, wishlist Figment 2: Creed Valley and enjoy their unique and unforgettable tales!
Time machines are real!
Thank you Bedtime Digital Games and GOG!

I heard Figment was already free on another platform, but this is much better.
Thanks for the free game, its artstyle is damn beautiful.
Yes, thank you!

Just FYI - unfortunately Figment was out of date on GOG for quite some time. A few years ago I already reminded the devs about this and they promised me to fix it. However it seems as if they have forgot about it since yesterday another GOGer reminded me that the game still was not up to date and so I decided to tell them about it again yesterday. They listened closely to my feedback and immediately corrected their mistake. Just today only hours later I received the following message from the devs:

"The most recent build is now up on GOG"

Thank you Bedtime Digital. I already owned the game here and I also finished it but with this you gave me a big incentive to get Figment 2 here as well.

It's good to know there is people like you for asking devs to keep their games up to date here, even if it's GOG responsability to do it !

It is even better to know that there are devs who post "It was the responsible thing to do." after they got thanked for the delayed update. :) We have quite a lot of GOGers who try their best to get their games updated but in the end we can't do much (and obviously the same goes for GOG) if the devs simply have a bad character and think that the customer has to understand their side instead of fulfilling their contractual obligation. This is the reason why I personally would rather only have those devs here on GOG who are 100% behind their GOG release as well .... I know that I am in the minority here but I'd rather have not so many games but each and everyone of them get updates guaranteed.

Yeah, some of them continue to sell their outdated games on GOG... like Tinybuild !

Thank you for sharing this, guess I can redeem the game now. A shame it all happened in the same place, but better late than never.

I remember that one time when tinybuild updated nearly all their games after they were just steps away from leaving GOG (or rather getting kicked out). Is it this bad again or are we just talking about one or two games?

It's good that the game didn't have time to update, and I managed to download a version that works on my old computer. But the new version of the game did not start.
Thanks Bedtime Digital Games and GOG, game looks cute:)

Dear Figment devs,

Thanks for the giveaway but no thanks, I will not take your game even for free. First of all you left GOG users in the dark with an outdated game for well over 2 years. Now that you're about to release your new game, you suddenly wake up and realize it's outdated on GOG.

Secondly, you didn't even release the soundtrack DLC which is present on Steam. Kinda ironic for a musical game. Yet again you treat GOG as 2nd class citizens.

Now with all the above said, I can't even dream of it (even as a nightmare) to give you my money knowing I may end with an outdated game for god knows how long (possibly until Figment 3?).

I will consider buying your games once you decide start being serious.

Regards

Thanks for the hint, I just grabbed the soundtrack for 0.79€

I had to fight my conscience (which was not amused about me giving money to Valve) and was successful.
