ZiTheBookishGamer: Ooh, I'll guess for fun. I'll try lettuce and eggplant?
So far Everdream lives up to my expectation :D
I'm happy you're enjoying Everdream Valley! :) The multiple game save slots is such a wonderful feature, I agree.
As for your guesses: my Mom loves eggplant but she did not plant any this summer and her lettuce was gorgeous but since she planted so few, I did not accept them.

Microfish_1: I'm make a wild guess. The failed crops were:
-radishes
-eggplant
Enjoy your new game! As for your wild guesses: my Mom never planted radishes in her life, though she loves them. As for the eggplant, she planted none this summer.

I promised I'd reveal the two failed crops this weekend, so here they are:

> Italian basil! Every single summer of her gardening life, my Mom has always planted basil and they were always absolutely beautiful. This year was an exception: her 4 plants died early on. Their leaves were perforated and yellowed. It was a mystery we never solved.

> Green collards! These plants are a hit and miss. This year was a total miss. I suspect they were pecked to death by birds. My mom suspects snails. All 6 plants were killed early on.

Well, this wraps up my GA for good... See you in the forums! ;)

So all our combined guesses missed. That's 6 blanks out of the 10 remaining possibilities.
Remind me to never ever play that classic board game "Battleships" against you. X-)

I intend to :)
I just looked up basil, and it looks quite pretty.
Thank you for the extra information!
Thank you for this giveaway! It was fun, and I didn't expect to win anything, and would still have been fun if I hadn't won!
Congratulations to all the winners again!

And...

matterbandit: You made me chuckle so much with your comment about the suspense actually killing our Round 1 winner, that I was hoping to see you back here for Round 2. ;) If you get this message and perhaps you have no desire to participate, please do let us know! Thanks and take care! :D
...thanks for trying to reach me! It's my bad. I was a bit occupied.
That was one of the most unusual and creative ways to make a giveaway.
Hopefully all the food was as tasty as it looked like on the picture.
Thanks again and see'ya around!

You're alive! Thank goodness! xD Thx so much for reaching out to me... I totally understand: life outside the forums sometimes gets busy and screams for our attention. :P Hope all is well on your end. As for all that produce, I cooked what I could and stored in my freezer as not to lose anything. The rest I ate already! ;)
