The game I nominate is The Last Door: Collector's Edition

A horror adventure game.. It takes pixel art a step further than most games with a very low resolution. People are stylised to not have faces, which I suppose adds to the atmosphere.

I picked my copy up as a flash deal years ago. I'm generally not a fan of adventure games due to ridiculous puzzles and moon logic, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Last Door, being able to play through intuitively. I was so impressed by it that it was one of the first games I submitted to finkleroy's GOG giveaway..

Yes. This one is great. I've never seen better art/pixel ratio in pixel-art games. It's not perfect as an adventure game and its plot becomes, well, a bit psychodelic, I think, but it definitely deserves some interest.

Play Blades of Time. I asked a copy you donated in the Community GA during the last Summer Sale and it was a blast ! It's a great atmospheric Hack and Slash, similar to the BloodRayne serie, with Time Rewind ability to resolve puzzles and defeating boss, close to Prince of Persia The Sands of Time.
I know you play several games at once so this games fits your criterias and there is a good replayability as you can replay in the difficult mode with new weapons and items.
Blades of Time deserves more love and attention !

I see you have given quite some time to both Amid Evil and Heretic, but i cant seem to find Hexen and Dusk in your profile. Hexen is a neat game that as a Retro FPS fan you should try at least once, the map design is hella confusing, but the gameplay is some of the best done in the Doom Engine. Dusk on the other hand might be the best FPS game i have ever played, it has everything that made games like Quake, Doom and Blood great and amplifies it all in ways you have never seen, and you'll love it even more if youre a big fan of Blood, cause as a certain youtuber once said about Dusk "Cant i be dissapointed once?".

My heart weeps to see that out of 5 Monkey Island games only the first one has any playtime on record and even that is less than an hour. So I would most definitely recommend:

The Secret of Monkey Island
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
The Curse of Monkey Island
Escape from Monkey Island
Tales from Monkey Island

In that order. Or at least the first two games. Use a cheat sheet for the Monkey Kombat in Escape from Monkey Island -- I don't know what the game makers were thinking with that one. Keyboard-only game was already a weird decision.

I liked only the first Monkey Island. I know, I'm entering heretic territory now, but it's true.
The humor didn't really catch up for me, and puzzles got -imo- steadily worse.

Hm. I have recently re-played Monkey Island 1, 2, 3, 4, then 3 again. I guess it's time to install and play Monkey Island 5, then.

Impressive collection! Play Pillars of Eternity again, absolutely loved this game. Must play for fans of cRPGs, great quests, immersive world. I didn't play the sequel but i will soon.

And after you played it, give "Ghost of a tale" a go. Incredibly good indie game.

Well Halloween is coming soon and Dreadout is a game made by Indonesian devs so I'm gonna shill for that.

Alan Wake
It's a great game. The best element is the story. Very well thought out and well told. I don't advise playing just thinking about horror and action.

Visually it has beautiful graphics, beautiful backgrounds, 3d character models very well modeled and especially very well animated. Here we have a high level motion capture work. The game's setting is dark and desaturated, the elements of the scenarios are similar, but as everything takes place in a small town then it is justified. But this is offset by the beautiful settings of each level.

I personally took a while to get into the mood for the game. But after a few hours of play, the addiction came. So it was really worth playing.

I recommend Little Inferno. It´s relaxing and exciting at the same time. You just lean back and put things on fire. The game has a nice art direction and isn´t very long. There is a little bit of horror story-wise, and a mysterious secret. Perfect for the coming cold days.
