zeogold wins with the guess 7931, jamotide is next with 9696. Emachine9643 posted "Over 9000? Not in" - 9000 would be nearest, but I don't count that a a guess.

I sent the code via chat to zeogold.

The 8th hex digit is capitalized, giving away the first digit of my number - but that hint was obviously too subtle. :)

....now, there's something I never saw coming. Thanks! Only now does it dawn on me that the game is not what I thought it was. Looking at the store page, I'm reading it takes around 40 hours to beat, which I'm not about to dedicate myself to. Give it to Jamotide instead.
But, hey, on the bright side, at least I lived up to my reputation as The Puzzlemaster.
