NOT in, but thanks for hosting this giveaway.
<--- First off, there's Annie.
A lot of hard work going on over here, but I like what I do. So spending 7 1/2 hours in the shop yesterday, working on parts for an order that hasn't yet been confirmed... not a big deal. It's good get-your-hands-dirty (okay, nitrile gloves) work, and I convinced the wife to come out and help me for a bit. Put on some tunes, then switch over to the game, and pretty soon you got a lot of work done without really noticing the time.
Rain storm rolled through last night. Rained as hard as I've ever seen since we moved out to the sort-of-country last year. Hearing it drumming on the steel roof... noisy, but there's still something comforting about it. Hard to explain.
Speaking of rain, had a fantastic storm come through last year. Afterward, we went outside and took some photos of the clouds. DropBox here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/05c85c44q12vitm/AACNnm5bIKpK1ep5UTj3WjQva?dl=0 We get fantastic sunsets about half the year, and it makes for a nice way to end the day.
I like to gripe about my slow internet (this is only the dozenth time, haha) but the reality is that it works for what I NEED to do. I'm almost glad we don't have fast internet, since there's the temptation of streaming TV: NetFlix, hulu, etc. Probably best that we don't have access to that, so it doesn't suck up our evenings.
