rodrolliv: I don't mean to have the old system back, I mean access to the PMs that we users have been sending since the system started working until you changed it for the chat. Because some people had some info, keys or conversations there and didn't have time to save all before the Account changes were applied. I'm assuming they have not been erased, just unavailable at the moment. So if you could make an archived section and display them separetely from the chat, that'd be convenient.

I'm not a fan of making separate threads for this kind of complaints, but... fuck it, this time I'm doing it. We need access to the old PMs. Yes WE, I'm gonna assume 'everyone' needs it or at least would not be against it.

I absolutely subscribe to this post, every word of it!

I sure hope that all the PM conversations aren't gone. That handicapped conversation window is nonsensical, to express it mildly.

My email indicated that I had messages to respond to, but given the new system, I can't.

This is unfair, as they will think me an asshole when I truly am, even though I did my best to respond in a timely manner.

Bring back the old PM, Friends list lol, I have no friends that play games, it was nice to PM someone, and offer them a game [as a thank you for offering me a game]

This is all to do about gifting, has EA bought shares in GOG!

Major pain in the ass; before only when no-one acknowledged. This is a fail in this area. No-one can say hi, boo, shit, or anything. If public crap works, I have no idea, but sometimes people like a bit of privacy. Hell, I can't even tell if someone grabbed it or not.

Phase slowly, this was not well thought out.

With no way for a recipient to acknowledge receipt, and no way for a sender to verify, your algorithms are sitting out there. Please think.

ya the new one is terrible couldn't they have retained the classic pm system and instead offered the chat to galaxy , i am pretty shocked to see that we are loosing all of the olde gog site completely , i guess their aim is to make the main website so horrible that people would give up and just use galaxy instead

Multi-line messages are possible (with a tiny bit of magic thrown in).

You can actually check in the Order History by keeping a check only on the boxes for redeemed and unredeemed gifts. They removed the gifts tab and integrated everything into a new Order History section under Orders and Settings in the Account.

Simple matter: put the fucking thing, back where it was, and all will be acomodated.
