You can set your region to whatever you want.
He's just a german that set his region to the UK.

This thread is filled with dubiousness
I have no idea why nobody's told you about this yet, but there's actually a specific thread for trading: One small problem though: Paying somebody directly for games is NOT allowed, nor is it safe, either. You can offer to buy somebody something of equal value from their wishlist instead.

And enter their payment details? Not a sound idea.

You may want to try your luck in the Trading Thread. Keep in mind that you should not offer money - it's against the rules, check the OP, and may result in you getting scammed.

Should you post in the above mentioned thread, I advice caution as there's quite some scamming going on (by a very limited number of users with multiple accounts).

Before proceeding with any trade, feel free to publicly ask about anyone that contacts you for a trade, make sure they abide by rule #6, follow the advice given in post #12368 there, and check out t and [url=https://gogwiki.com/index.php/Known_Scammers]this.

Pheace: This thread is filled with dubiousness
I disagree. Just because GOG at one point suddenly decided to put this arbitrary limitation for certain users - in this case, due to opening the German store front - shouldn't bar them from acquiring the games they want here.

If one is old enough to buy oneself games online one should damn well be in control of what one can buy and not be restricted because some silly overprotective government body said one can't play certain computer games. There are waaaaaaaay more harmful things out there than some digital red pixels.

I hadn't thought of that. Yeah, maybe not then.
