dtgreene: It is possible to reverse the effect. If the weapon is buyable, however, you might just want to buy a new one.
Also, when fighting those enemies, if you unequip your weapon, the enemies can't transform it. (Attack by using magic, which is stronger than weapons at that point of the game, anyway.)
Side note: Those enemies can drop a wand that will allow *you* to turn enemy weapons into toy hammers. This could be fun, but I don't think it's useful, and certainly not worth investing extra into wands just to use it.
omega64: Yeah I noticed, but constantly equipping and unequipping my weapons just wasn't all too appealing to me. :P
I'm sure I'll go to back to it someday and maybe finish it.
In the good old days of gaming they used keyboard keys: 1234567890 to map it to 10 weapons/items, or a cycle through the weapons with a key asigned to it, which would be displayed in characters hand, and in a small icon.
Stackable items would get a number in the lower right corner, showing how much arros/bolts stones/rocks or potions you had.
Some games had characters who could use one weapon and a shield or a 2 handed weapon like broadswords, pikes. lances, and of couse cross bows and longbows.
@Francisco Tellez :
Nice big monsters you have in the new game, did you also owned an AMIGA in the good old days? maybe a CD32?
that was the real good stuff, long before the pc were powerfull enough to finally use good graphics, we had AMIGA to play the best games.
Sword Of Sodan ? (AMIGA) maybe you remember that one? Ghostbusters on c64? , Pooyan perhaps? and Frogger ofcourse. Pitfall 1 and 2 on the ATARI 2600, cosmic arc, all old retro games.
