It's not that you can plan such a thing ;) One day you notice that other activities are so time consuming that you don't have a moment to sit and write something. And then after a while you get used to it... until some other day when you start to miss it.

I would say I don't have a backlog at the moment. Sure, I've recently got Sunless Sea and haven't installed it yet but I stopped playing games more or less at the same time when I finished my backlog and during my non-gaming time I only bought one or two games and AFAIR both of them were for collection purposes.
