Themken: EVeryone who likes first person shooters and have not played Far Cry, what are you waiting for? It is a corridor shooter where the corridors are quite wide in places giving you a choice of which route to take and how to get to the other side.
Seconded. Both games of the series available here are each on a class of their own. Both are masterpieces in their own way. Recommended. Best bang for the buck I've ever had.

ciemnogrodzianin: By the way – what's wrong with Pilgrims?
Personally, it is more of the things I don't like about Amanita games (most of the human characters) and less of the things I do like (musical scenes). Also, I don't really like the "try everything with everything" type of adventure game, although they at least try to make it a bit more interesting by having a limited inventory and animations for many of the wrong combinations (some of the ones with the bear are cute), although they often repeat when you try the same item in different places. Also they trick you into leaving the ending right away rather than enjoying your trip down the river for a bit (I almost always like to watch the credits at the end of games or movies (though I rarely watch movies)). Also they use a mobile form factor that is fine in general but it annoyingly makes the cards not all visible when there is plenty of unused screen space on a desktop.

In Creaks, I didn't really like the paintings (they are at least very weird), but I'd agree that the rest of the game is really well done (it has puzzles that make you think but still make sense). I'd recommend the discounted collector's edition ($20, 20% off) since it is interesting to see a bit about how the game was developed from the artwork at different stages, although I also noticed perusing gg.deals that the base game is $4 off at a couple other places so there is a good chance such a deal will arrive here soon.

I ended up picking up the Wanderlust games with the 80% newsletter discount, Blackhole, In the Shadows, Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, My Brother Rabbit, and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack for under $25 combined. I'm considering Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition ($24, 40% off) but might wait longer on that one considering my backlog. I would have picked up at least the first Pillers of Eternity and maybe both but at least the first seems to lack a no blood option.

perhaps everyone who wants the game owns it by now :p, but Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete is only $1.49/-85% off. felt like it was worth pointing this out

Btw, the ex-Telltale games seem discounted, except for The Walking Dead series (why?).
For example, The Wolf Among Us: -75% €3.8 \ $4.8
Stranglehold $2.77
Both The Suffering games are 75%, and they're very good:

Sulibor: Good point.

New deals:
• $0.99 • -90% • Unreal Tournament GOTY
• $5.99 • -80% • Absolver
• $8.99 • -70% • Frostpunk
• $13.99 • -30% • Creaks

Just noticed that Blood: Fresh Supply and Shadow Man are not sale. Also, they're not published by NightDive Studios on GOG, but they are on Steam (and they're also on sale there).

Does anyone know if these games are the same versions on both stores?

Most ex-Telltale games (such as The Wolf Among Us) are now published by Athlon Games, but not all. The Walking Dead series belongs to Skybound Games, and for another example, the Sam & Max license was bought by Skunkape Games.

At the moment all flash deals ends in 18h, but the sale ends 1 day later, on Tuesday, December 1st.
So I guess we may expect some event scheduled for CyberMonday – or perhaps all the previous offers will simply come back once again, for the last 24h.

Does anyone know if the GOG versions of these games run on Linux?

ciemnogrodzianin: Is AI War Collection playable for someone who's terrible in RTS? I like playing the genre, but I always fail to coordinate all these tiny units ;) What's the learning curve of the game? I know it's complex and hard to master – but is it easy enough to just start and enjoy?
I can't answer your questions since I never made it past the tutorial after getting it in the Arcen Humble Bundle many years ago, but a few things I can note in case it is helpful (now that the flash deal is over :/ ): 1) there is an extensive tutorial and it mentions early on that you will need hundreds of ships; the game setup scripts that I checked all have 80 planets 2) there are quite a lot of settings when starting a new game 3) it sounds like the game uses a font with a fixed number of pixels designed for smaller screens and changing resolution is the only way to increase the size (it isn't unreadable at 1920x1080 if you have good eyesight but I don't :/ ); at least doing a couple of quick searches it sounds like AI War II may have a bunch of UI size adjustment options

I wonder if it might make more sense to get AI War II rather than the first one at this point. Also, there is quite a bit of music that comes with it and they say the second one comes with 4.5 hours from the first and additional 1.5 hours. I like Arcen composer Pablo Vega's music quite a bit, although as with nearly all games it is still too repetitive for me. I don't know about the second but in the first the music is ogg/vorbis files per track but without any metadata. Anyone who wants a preview of the music can listen on bandcamp (without purchasing it there or needing an account):

Thank you! I've read a bit more about the game and it looks intriguing. The music is awesome - and may easily convince me itself, because I simply like to solve puzzles with good music in the background, so suddenly a few hours long tutorial does not sound so scary with Pablo Vega's soundtrack.
The only problem seems to be time - the game requires some effort, but for now I'm quite sure I'll try it. Will think if focusing on AIW2 only is a good idea (considering time needed, it looks reasonable; the same way I didn't make sense for me to spend much time with Europa Universalis, since EU2 exists).
Screen resolution might be a problem, but I luckily still use 1366x768 :D
