I know that is the "laws of the markets" and so on, but I think that is a little bit unfair that today we have the option of buy the 'Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle' when many people, included me, purchased the game and the expansion pass in the launch week.

I'm enchanted with GOG, but this kind of news it baffles me.

Right. It only proves my point - that until there is a realistic leak or it's publicly confirmed we don't really know if 1.Sale will even be a thing this year (it should, but still, we don't) 2.When 3.If it's going to involve big discount (this isn't so obvious anymore in recent years).

Considering this specific sale right now is so close to end-year sale, well, I have doubts and suspitions.
Like if for example GOG wouldn't want to use THIS sale as an excuse to skip major discounts in a month.

· Pathologic 2 (-55% until November 28th, 2 PM UTC)
Wasn't this 60% off with the newsletter discount a few weeks ago ?

:p
A few which tempts me:

Valfaris
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (only -60% but still)
Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition Same
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters
Iron Danger
Conglomerate 451
Dark Quest 1 & 2
Wizard of Legend
Lake Ridden
Haimrik
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus - Omnissiah Edition
Mary Skelter: Nightmares
X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition
Life is Strange: Complete Season

Every year there is always a winter sale. 99% they will have again this year as well.. And usually they always release an AAA game. Even last year they had a black friday sale the same date as this year...All stores have.. even steam has their autumn sale yesterday and they will have a winter sale probably on december 23.

fronzelneekburm: Thief series for 99sen each is a pretty good deal, too!

Why doesn't gog have an option to sort the catalogue by highest discount first? :(

Dogmaus: There you go.

I don't waste time navigating GOG with a big sale anymore.
Huh, now that *is* convenient! Thank you very much!
EVeryone who likes first person shooters and have not played Far Cry, what are you waiting for? It is a corridor shooter where the corridors are quite wide in places giving you a choice of which route to take and how to get to the other side.
The code: [[walkabout_exclusive]] supplied in the e-mail for a surprise deal doesn't even work.

EDIT: Oooooohhhhh, it does work if you open it from the mail, but not from the link to display it in the web browser,

If you are busy you can't keep up and you fear for missing out. At least these seem to be lasting for a longer time and don't require people to stay awake to refresh the screen often.

OK, sure, but please note that current deals last for 24 or 48h. I think it reduces that risk quite a bit :)
high rated
I'll recommend the $5 Hollow Knight flash deal to anyone who likes platformers (although somehow the $12 bundle is better if you want the soundtracks as well, it looks like regularly the soundtracks are quite a bit more expensive if you get them unbundled :(). IMO, it is one of the best platformers ever made with a great sense of exploration.

I personally like Guacamelee a bit better and the Drinkbox Studios games are on sale as well. Guacamelee Gold has a Linux version while Super Turbo has a minor changes throughout the game, although either version is fine and both are $4.50 (70% off). It is difficult but there are checkpoints literally every other screen and the music is excellent (although like almost all games not nearly enough music for the lenght of the game).

For anyone who likes racing games and hasn't tried them yet, the first two Moto Racer games are $.59 each (90% off) and are my favorite racing games on GOG that I've tried so far (I like the Mario Kart or Super Tux Kart style better). Although I enjoy racing games I'm not that good at them so I haven't even tried the third yet ($1, 90% off).

While not the lowest prices, Falcom games are almost all on sale (except Gurumin for some reason :( ) and are really excellent games IMO (except Zwei: The Arges Adventure, I'd recommend skipping that one, but do play Zwei II ($10, 50% off) since it is really good and not all that connected to the first). Most of them are also quite long as games go so you get a lot for the money. Falcom unfortunately has a bunch of DLC but it can all be skipped, although Ys VIII has a free HD texture pack DLC (not sure if it really does much). Ys VIII ($24, 40% off) is in good shape now and not likely to receive additional updates.

Tokyo Xanadu is the best deal at $12 (80% off) and is one of my favorites. It has an extensive story that unfortunately does get repetitive in the second half but I enjoyed the "real city" feel. The Trails games have possibly the most extensive story you can find in a game series while the Ys series is relatively more action focused (except Ys VIII that is closer to a trails game). Memories of Celceta and VIII are the newest Ys games; personally, I recommend starting with Origin ($5, 75% off), I & II ($4.50, 75% off), then Memories ($18.75, 25% off). If you didn't like Origin that much skip Oath ($4.50, 75% off) and Ark ($5, 75% off) that are very similar games in terms of gameplay and go on to VIII (that is between Oath and Ark in the game world progression, with Seven ($15, 40% off) last).

The Trails games have different arcs in different locations. They start with Trails in the Sky ($52 for full series with over 200 hours of gameplay (well over if you are slow like me :) ), $10 / 50% off for just the first). The next arc, the Crossbell arc, is Trails to Zero and Trails to Azure; there is no official translation but some dedicated fans have put together what sounds like a nice version of Trails to Zero and are getting close to finished with Azure. Trails of Cold Steel is the third arc. From what I've heard, the first two Cold Steel games ($52 for both) and the other two arcs could potentially be played in any order without massive spoilers (although the release order might be ideal) while Cold Steel III ($36, 40% off) and IV (translated version not released yet) tie all of them together more directly. There seems to be a demo for Cold Steel III that likely give an idea of the gameplay for the Cold Steel arc (hopefully without spoilers?) but the other two arcs are fairly different from what I've heard (I've only played the Trails in the Sky games so far).

Also there are a number of Amanita Design games on sale. I'd recommend any of them except Pilgrims (that isn't on sale anyway). My favorite is Botanicula ($3, 70% off). They are point and click adventure games but with more integrated music.

Beatbuddy is another one with nicely integrated music and is $2 (80% off). Yoku's Island Express is a nice pinball-ish game (but not as hard as actual pinball), $4 (80% off).

Zachtronics games are on sale and I recommend Infinifactory ($12.50, 50% off) and Space Chem ($2.50, 75% off). I don't like Ironclad Tactics.

The Kerbal Space Program game and DLC are a combined $25 and I recommend them if you like the idea of building a space ship and then flying it. I recommend getting the DLC since they both have extra parts. While there is a Kerbal Space Program II in progress (by a different developer), it may be a while and is not guaranteed to be a better game than the first. Meanwhile, they have continued to improve graphics a bit and add new stuff the the first game (unfortunately each version also has some annoying bugs, although that is at least somewhat understandable considering the complexity of customization possible). Also take a look at the forums where people do all sorts of unbelievable stuff with the game. There are also a bunch of mods, although the base game is more usable these days without mods than it used to be.

Banished is a nice builder game and $6.79 (66% off), although it has some rough edges that are frustrating until you figure them out. Once you do it is a relaxing game. SimCity 3000 is still my favorite builder and $2.49 (75% off) however note that the GOG version crashes after a few hours of gameplay (and there is no autosave) so it is a bit hard to recommend for that reason but still the best overall design IMO.
