That guy certainly isn't. I did watch the whole thing, but did not manage to spot any humor anywhere in it. The German audience laughed, so I expect it is funny to Germans, but certainly not to me.

I actually found it fairly funny. In the U.S. we have these huge portions of food and it kinda resonates. I mean, a lot of people have seen the movie: Supersize Me and I've heard of it. So, it is funny to look at that food and ask: Who the heck are these portions made for? In another bit he mentions scandals with meat, which we also experience here with salmonella, mad cow and even cookie dough. So I get it and while it's far from the funniest I've seen, it's still funny.

presenting it via subtitles instead of spoken words kills the other 50%
what's left is just a guy speaking about stuff ...
it's just useless to sell comedy to people who don't speak the language
