I think it's for the best that we all learn to live together, and favor multiethnic societies, but I see no good in demonizing those who are uncomfortable with that perspective, and find it just as repugnant as racism. Dialogue is absolutely essential if we are to avoid widespread civil unrest, and I can't help but think that we have been brought to this crisis so that those in power have a pretext to invoke emergency powers and do away with the facade of representative governance -- which no longer serves any function for those few who have almost everything.

Multiethnic societies without a clearly dominant ethnic-cultural group usually aren't very pleasant places to live, everything comes down to identity and tensions between different communities. The early stages of that are already clearly visible in Western Europe. One doesn't have to be a Nazi or a 100% purity fanatic to regard further steps into that direction as undesirable. Immigration of the scale and nature of the last 30 years needs to end.

Yes, it's a huge mistake to try and force people to live together, but the people driving this policy are doing so purely for expedience and care nothing about the long-term consequences, so I wouldn't conclude that multiethnic societies are unfeasible. Under more favorable socio-economic conditions I think it would be met with far less resistance, and would be very beneficial for our species.
