Something I've noticed with academia recently is more lecturers with higher degrees like this gentleman. My undergrad advisor 30 years ago was a lecturer with only a bachelors degree. Now it's the opposite. One of the travel channels I watch on youtube, the guy is a lecturer with a phd as well.
