Stalker caught my eye, anyone got any experience/insight about Impulse? (i.e. DRM).

You just need the client to install the game. After that, you can play it without ever needing to launch Impulse.

A while ago, I noticed that they didn't have the Elven Legacy Editor available in the collection that I bought from them. I emailed them about it, they basically replied "hold on". A few days later they had an updated available which included it.

In any dealings I had with them, they have been very responsive.

Their client is barebones compared to Steam, but works fine. They also have bunch of free games available if you want to test out their system.

Overall, I think they are a nice alternative to the others and competition always helps the buyer.
