bansama: Alternately, pre-order Homefront from GamersGate and get Frontlines Fuel of War for free (and 5% of the cost back of course).
Or, go to Amazon UK and get all three for around 40 pounds. :p

Better deal, since Steam is asking 50 euro here for Homefront and Metro 2033.

Buy that! No excuses. Even if you would rather have cockrot than Steam £2.50 is a must buy.
Squenix sale til Feb. 16 http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-CA/squareenix/ Batman, Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, etc.

It is listing it at 7.5 pounds for me. For that it is still a crazy good deal.
Slightly more expensivethan what I got it for on the Steam Christmas sale, which was 7.5 USD but eh. Still VERY VERY worth it

7.5$ if you change currency. Anybody know how to play JC2 on my XP desktop? I still don't buy win7 yet.

DirectX 10 is a firm requirement, so Vista or 7 only. Absolutely worth it if you can satisfy the requirements.

I would. Gladly. But Amazon UK refuse to ship games to this part of the world. Amazon US will ship some games that sell, but generally not when they are new releases (depending on the publisher). Which is pretty much why I abandoned boxed copies many years ago.

Dude, change currency. I can buy stuff in Americabucks!

I'd buy it, but I'm still on XP, so eh. It'll go on sale again one day.

lol Splinter Cell Conviction for £7.49 (and Eurolanders can pay in pounds). The absolute joke that is UbiDRM has been wonderful for bargains.

There's still the authentication each time you want to play right?

Yes but now it's just a check when you start the game. Before if you lost connection during a game it would dump you to the title screen which was madness.

Thanks. An improvement for sure but still a no-go for me.
