Nice, 5 day sales. Now I just need 4 more wallets.
Good lord. I'll hit the Matrix Games sale post-holidays, since it runs until Jan. 17th.
So far, nothing grabs me that I don't already own, but Steam's putting up a new set of games on Fri, Sat, Sun AND Mon, D2D has something on for 75% off on Monday, and GoG and Gamersgate haven't actually released their weekend sales yet.
My wallet just screamed.
I'm tempted by the THQ Pack, and I have STALKER already. I'm still waiting for GOG deals.
EDIT: Company Of Heroes: Anthology for £9.99 on Play.com.

I'm going to assume that RE5 will hit Steam at some point this week for $25 to match D2D's and Impulse's sales. I will probably grab RE5 from Impulse.
D2D has Hearts of Iron 3 75% off ($7.50) till Monday, and Steam has Sam and Max Season 1 33% off.
Serious Sam 2 is 50% off on GamersGate for today. It's also had a significant price drop for the US, down from $29.95-ish to $9.95 so it's current price is $4.95. The old UK price of £8-ish has also dropped with the current sale price at £2.49 so depending on your currency, it may be cheaper to get from GG UK. (It's a good 150 yen cheaper on GG UK for me compared to the GG US price).

Gothic 3 Gold is 33% off. It contains the original game and the expansion Forsaken Gods.
I bought Gothic 2 on sale from GOG. Does anybody know if this one is as good as its prequels?

Gothic 2 I think is regarded as even better than the original. Can't wait to dive in myself...

If you don't want to fight crowds tomorrow you can get L4D2 for $30 at Gamestop's website now.
However, I have a hunch you'll see the Valve Complete Pack on sale for $50 or so in about a month during Steam's Christmas sale if you're interested in those extra titles (the pack now includes L4D2).

I think he's asking if Gothic 3 is as good as it's prequels
I just bought it on a $5 sale and installed the community patch so that it ran well enough. Its biggest problem is that it's really buggy. The game itself is awesome, I've been really addicted to it for a long time. The controls are a lot better than G1 and G2 but the combat is more simplistic and some people don't like it. I would say the game is worth a good $30 if it runs well on your comp.

Oh yeah, sorry, misread.
Gothic 3, yeah, is crap on its own, but the community patch is supposed to make things pretty good. Worth playing, certainly. The final patch was released recently, so it's good timing.
and it's free for PC Games

Wow, a $5 sale. I wish I had known about that. Right now it is $20 at GamersGate with the expansion included so I guess it is still a good deal (unless the expansion sucks).
Thanks for the answer.

I think the GamersGate version is compatible with the community patches but I'm not sure.

mmm so I have to get an european PC Games Magazine to get the free DVD? Do you know if the DVD is multi-language? I'd settle for English or Spanish.

If youre a console gamer, L4D2 is selling for $40 (33% off) on amazon right now for the 360. Dragon Age is also selling for $12 off on all platforms on amazon.
EDIT: Actually DA is now selling for $20 off the 360 and if my recent order is any indication amazon is also giving away a $20 credit towards their orders right now (at least for Dragon Age there was) which means you can get the game for $20 on 360, $27.50 for ps3, and $17.50 for PC!
