ffs guys, the games are good, you buy them for $5 and while good, they are not exactly classics or ever be. The chances you will ever play the again after you finish them is pretty slim for most of us.
Ubisoft didn't use the always online crap drm till 1404 I think, by that time the GR games were all from old to definitely not recent.
If you haven't played the games, you can't lose for $5.
today giveaway of the day is caesar quest

found at the bottom of the Steam page of Battlefield 2 Complete Collection. Do I have to go through with this with the retail, disc version too? Or is this a Steam only thing? $5 for the whole pack seems to be a good deal, but this just seems like a catch.

Also, should I go for the Ghost Recon collection? Can anyone tell me how those games are? I never played a Tom Clancy game.
AFAIK two of the "expansions" are basically map packs for the base game, and require some kind of registration. And, as Crassmaster pointed out, it's pretty much a multi-player only game anyway.

Anyway, my deal: UK EA Store has everything half price, and here's a 25% off code to go on top of that: o3gfubinq. That means stuff like Mass Effect 2 for £7.49 and Dragon Age Ultimate Edition for under £10. Do note that it's today only.

Well I received a $20 giftcard to gamestop/ebgames yesterday. Couple that with the $1.33 left on my old giftcard and that makes $21.33. Local gamestop/ebgames near me still sell the limited edition PC Bioshock 2 set for $39.99. I'm thinking on splurging on that tomorrow. However, I need some quick impressions on whether Bioshock 2 is worthwhile or just essentially the game game as Bioshock 1 aside from being a big daddy the second time around.

This should probably work out a bit cheaper if you're willing to wait.

It's a good game that improves upon the original in a number of key ways and has its own story that's worth telling. Certainly worth it for that price.

In the end, I would only need to pay about $24 out of pocket locally if I use the giftcards. In any event, that was a great price at shopto until they said shipping would be a whopping £47.71 to canada. UK residents get free shipping and pay a total of $15 USD. Now that's a steal and a half.

What?!
International delivery is £2.50 standard first class or £4.80 for signed for.
I guess that must be an exception to their standard delivery rates.

Must be. I tried just Bioshock 2 360 game only and it was £2.50. The boxset is a large and heavy item what with the vinyl and art book. I appreciate the effort to try and find a better deal.

The Ball is $4.95 on D2D this weekend. Use "holidaytreats" and game will be $3.96. Also you can activate the game on Steam with the serial.

Thank you! Now I'm really pleased I wasn't able to get Hot Pursuit from D2D yesterday. Just picked it up for under £12 along with Medal of Honor for under £14.

Anyone looking for a usable UK proxy, I recommend Expat Shield, works a charm for the EA UK store (and the BBC IPlayer for that matter).

Thanks! I tried a few web proxies, and almost gave up in disgust before I saw this. Expat Shield works like a charm.
Is it safe ? ( SSL )

If you have a best buy any where near you they had BioShock2 on sale for $9.99 yesterday when I was doing some last minute shopping.
