Cossacks 1, 2, plus American Conquest game series are available in packs on DotEmu for 9.99$.
They also have a megapack with the all 7 games including add-ons at a 14.95$ price point. Which looks like a better bargain.
I'm not sure if it has been said, but the X-COM Complete Bundle appears to be at a startlingly low $1.69. Not sure if there's any region restriction, and I've never used D2D, but this seems like a good deal. I don't know when it ends or anything, I just saw that it was dirt cheap. The original game runs in DOSBox, so I can tell you that would definitely be DRM free.
Regarding Steam daily deals: King Arthur Complete is a steal at that price.

Tell me about it. At least now Paradox are publishing it the price should be reasonable... here at least. They clearly don't like mainland Europe much. But even so it should be cheaper than it would have been otherwise.

Ultrabundle is still available for $6.99. Got the Titans game from from the Indie bundle, it's quite fun.
No more nice price on NWN :-(

Those games are pretty sweet for those arcade retrohead days. If you have those kinds of days that is.
Noooo i knew Torchlight would become $5 but i still bought gmod..
I'm kinda worried about the

found at the bottom of the Steam page of Battlefield 2 Complete Collection. Do I have to go through with this with the retail, disc version too? Or is this a Steam only thing? $5 for the whole pack seems to be a good deal, but this just seems like a catch.

Also, should I go for the Ghost Recon collection? Can anyone tell me how those games are? I never played a Tom Clancy game.

It seems like a fairly standard online game set of conditions to me. They only mean that they could close their servers after 30 days notice. Not that the game is tied to them. But as an online game it shouldn't really be a problem if it where.

Ghost Recon games are much slower and more tactical granting you control of your team using an overhead satellite view as well as the more standard pointing and shouting. They're good and totally unconnected to the more arcade-like console games of the same name. Those were the days when Ubisoft were actually pretty good.

That's a pretty standard little legalese blurb. And considering the BF series are pretty much purely online, requiring an online connection kinda makes sense. :)

As for the GR series, I completely agree with Navagon. Very good, but you need to take your time when playing them.

Portions of it are fairly standard. I think it all depends what they mean by internet connection. By which I mean, internet connection to use multiplayer features, or to allow them to randomly phone home for reasons related to their stupid DRM system.
