eyeball226: That was the first one, right?
avatar
Catshade: Yeah, though they use Hitman Contracts cover for some reason.
Probably to trick people into buying it. I don't remember the first one being as good as the second or third.
D2D have the new Hot Pursuit for 50% off (slightly more if use the coupon "scrooged"). NA only as far as I know =(

Thus, is there any US based GOGer with PayPal who could help in gifting it to me?

There's also a retail version for £13 here. But in your case I'd imagine the postal charges would nix any benefits.

That and I want to play it today =/ I'd buy it myself, but despite the message D2D show you, they don't restrict games based on IP at point of sale, they now IP lock accounts (probably at creation) thus, even proxies don't work =(

They actually hold people to their account details? That's despicable! Oh well you'll just have to create a less honest account then.

Don't you see the problem with that? What if I were actually in the US trying to make a purchase but due to my usual location, am unable to? It's akin to be thrown out of a store simply because you live in the wrong neighbourhood.

Either way, all I can do is try to find someone in the US to help =/

Yeah, I see problems with that. The fact that they're making any effort at all to enforce regional restrictions is a good example too. But I guess they feel that there is less inaccuracies with this than the usual regional restrictions that nobody has any trouble circumventing.
So, what if you change country of residence? Do you lose all the games in your (steam?) account?

Er, I'd just create a new account....?

EDIT: Oh shit, I see what you're saying there... If I LITERALLY move countries... That would be fucked up!!! Good question there bud.

Miner Wars looks awesome. I had someone gift me it so when I can run it I can play it. Plus, the developers plan to unleash an MMO based on the game as well.

Hey, I posted this earlier today, would definately recommend picking it up...Miner wars is in alpha, but you will get the full version upon release (basically are paying for both full version and early access) and Aztaka is an interesting side scrolling, 2D RPG. Well worth just about anything you are willing to pay for it. And the tech team (Live Help) are super nice. I told them, I couldn't afford much of anything due to my financial situation with my car breaking down last Friday, and he told me just put $0.00 in, and if I found my self in better circumstances, come back and donate.

Should I buy the Unreal Anthology on GamersGate or Steam? They both contain Unreal Gold, Unreal 2: The Awakening, Unreal Tournament GOTY, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament 3. The one on Steam is $15 but the one on GamersGate is $11.53.

Does the Steam versions have any extra content over the Gamersgate versions? Do the people playing on Steam get some sort of special online play system? Can people playing the Steam version play against people playing the Gamersgate version online?

Well, odds are you'd get more chance of playiing a frag-fest with Steam... More people = more community = more chances.

Unreal Gold, Unreal 2, UT GOTY, and UT2k4 should all be the same except that GG has them without DRM. UT3 has Steam achievements but no matter where you buy it you should be able to play online just the same because it uses Gamespy for multiplater.
There is no Steam integration with the multiplayer, the official and public servers are the same for everybody. There are also private servers but I highly doubt that they are tied to Steam in anyway because they don't use Steamworks.
