The sale on Gamersgate has indeed become suddenly massive, but there's an awful lot of meh in it.

I woke up this morning to eight price drop alerts. I was hoping I'd finally get a better deal on Starscape, but it turns out they just emailed me about Recettear eight times.

Thinking about buying Tank Universal. But should I get it from Steam or Gamersgate? Steam has achievements, but I just like GamersGate more as a store.

I really wish I could know more about GamersGate's financial situation. At least this year, GG put a lot of games in sales all the time, but with overall underwhelming discounts, so I didn't buy much from them. If people are like me, then I can get a little worried.

My inbox helpfully informs me that VVVVVV's been added to the sale on Gamersgate, having been sliced in half to a mere $3.50. The demo was awesome, so I'ma buy it.

Lara Croft is $5.10 but $3.60 if you own another tomb raider game. I added Anniversary and Lara Croft to cart and the lower price is automatically reflected. That means anyone considering purchasing Lara and another tomb raider game don't have to purchase one at a time to get the lower price on Lara Croft: Guardian of light.

VVVVVV is also in the Indie 2D Pack on Steam, along with Geometry Wars, Super Laser Racer, Galcon Fusion, and Bullet Candy, all for $5. The Steam version of VVVVVV is DRM Free (I can confirm this myself, so you can have a copy backed up for the Steampocalypse of 2027), so this is not a bad deal. I picked it up myself yesterday (Though, I already had VVVVVV from the most recent sale of daily indie packs during Thanksgiving, I'd been holding back all this time for some kind of sale on Geometry Wars, despite being $4, and here it was!).


I've picked up The Witcher. I'd missed out on it, never having even heard of it at the time. What with The Witcher 2 being thrown around here on GOG lately, that had a way of upping my interest. Having it show up on GOG itself would've been preferable, but I have it on Steam now, and can't wait to see what all the praise is about. :)

Everytime I think of buying Burnout Paradise I remember the ingame store problem and give up.

Is it SO freaking hard to support buying costumers on the PC?

It's like EA sees interested costumers and goes insane everytime "Oh, my GOD! Buying costumers! Take them away from me, I'm scared!"

I just bombed $100 on Gamersgate. Good grief what have I done D:
