Minecraft isn't finished yet. Alpha testers are helping out by providing no end of feedback and suggestions. Many of which are going right back into making sure the game will be even better on release. So in a way it's thanks for the support.

Well - it's the older customers who helped get this game beyond alpha by their purchases, and they also placed trust in the developer that the game will be developed further, so I think they deserve some special treatment.

FooAtari: For anyone that's been thinking of getting Oddbox when it's released on Steam, it's going to be 50% for first 24 hours on sale tomorrow. Includes following;
* Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
* Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
* Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee
* Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Not sure of price and if same discount applies when buying games individually. Hope so as I already have the first two games, but definitely want the latter two.
If that sale is also valid over here, that is awesome. * Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
* Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
* Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee
* Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Not sure of price and if same discount applies when buying games individually. Hope so as I already have the first two games, but definitely want the latter two.
Definitely buying it for that price.

Oddboxx: $25 ($12.50 at 50% off) Not sure of price and if same discount applies when buying games individually. Hope so as I already have the first two games, but definitely want the latter two.
Yep. I hope so too.
Stranger’s Wrath: $15 ($7.50 at 50% off)
Munch’s Oddysee: $10 ($5 at 50% off)
Oddboxx = $12.50 on sale
Stranger's Wrath + Munch's Oddysee = $12.50 on sale
So... it doesn't matter whether you have any of the games or not. You get all the games for $12.50! No having to worry about buying them individually now if you already own the original games.
(This works out the same for the other currencies, by the way.)

Yes. Yes it is. The fact that they ported a decade old and a half decade old game is miraculous. Not having to pay extra for games I already own is icing on the cake.
I've already got versions of Oddysee, Munch's Oddysee, and Stranger's Wrath on consoles, as well as Oddysee and Exodus on Steam. It's been a while since I played either of the Xbox games, though, so it'll be cool to play them again on PC this time.
As for anybody who hasn't gotten into the series yet, THIS IS A DAMN GOOD TIME TO DO IT.
...you know, if it wasn't for the fact that this thread has little relevance to GOG, and that it's probably not in GOG's best interest to promote sales on other digital distribution services, I'd suggest this thread be stickied. I come here every day, you know! :D
Just thought this information was worth repeating. I activated my copy a few hours ago after reading this. Now I can play with achievements and have DRM-free copies with soundtracks. Some games on Steam are DRM-free (i.e. all DOSBox games, anything that can use a source port such as Quake, Super Meat Boy, and VVVVVV to name a few off the top of my head), but Braid is not, so that's rather nice.

Pay what you want for Beat Hazard + new Girl Talk album: http://groupees.yawma.net/gr8 25% of profits go to VH1 Save the Music
If you don't know Beat Hazard, it's an awesome music-based shoot em up. Here's some gameplay I recorded a long while ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7gWg9WGKLc

I found Beat Hazard torturous. I got it in the Indie Pulse Pack on Steam, and played it to get the objective in the Treasure Hunt. Absolutely torturous. :(If you don't know Beat Hazard, it's an awesome music-based shoot em up. Here's some gameplay I recorded a long while ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7gWg9WGKLc

Really? I loved the game. Gifted it to a few peeps as well and they loved it too. Maybe i'm just used to a little pain in my shooters being a fan of R-Type, Radiant Silvergun and Borderdown :p
