lackoo1111: Impulse daily deal :

Elemental (Download + Limited Edition Box) $49.95
Note that if you buy E:WoM before 12/31, you get the first Expansion free (the game is that unfinished).

Here's the change log for v1.1: Not quite a re-write, but sure seems like it:

Is it playable?
I've read people saying it's a complete waste of time. I really like their previous games, so i can't imagine it being that bad... :P

The 2 hrs i played of Civ V played sweetly. What are the problem/s?

Don't have Civ V. But Elemental is a buggy, memory hogging, constant crashing pile on fast processors and high-end Nvidia chipsets. I've heard it crashes and leaks memory more often on ATi cards.

And I *like* the game. Something must be wrong with me.

Edit: Civ V problems come from it consuming all available file handles in Linux/Wine until it crashes or cannot save - circa 1850 (in the game) or so. The Crossover guys know about the problem, but cannot fix it because it is an issue with Civ V. The game crashes even if you load it, and hit 'end turn'.

Kabuto: It has a lengthy user review to boot. You do get a demo with pre-order so it is based off their actual impressions. I suggest reading it for a good laugh because it's so ridiculous sounding.
I love these quotes:
accurately depicts the violent world of professional bikini fighters.
Err, I don't know where he comes from, but there's not a lot of pro bikini fighters around here, or anywhere, that I can recall. Bet there's some more whoppers in there.

deep combat {like} Street Fighter III.
newbie friendly timing ... exact frame
I thought combat was deep? or was it newbie friendly (as long as you hit the correct frame).

This game is easily a $60 dollar purchase - Oh look, there's an extra 0 on there.

life-like visuals which arguable dwarfs crysis - too much FAIL to even comment on.

NO attractive characters - Well, at least he's honest on one point.

Obviously a WUM and quite a funny one to put Street Fighter III and newbie friendly together.
EA store 25% off voucher code. Excludes pre orders and point packs. Only tried it on the UK site.

I'm going to punch a goat, I just bought Zombie Driver -- should have known better. Ah well, I want the other games in the pack so if it's $5 it's a great deal for the rest of them. Other than that the pack with Zen Bound looks good but I might just buy that solo.

God damnit. I bet people who already own games in those packs won't get a discount, as usual.

I may buy the future pack. But that's it. :(

Too bad there's no make your own bundle option. That would be sweet.
