I would have preferred a big new game or publisher announcement, but I guess a sale is good. Sales are always good.
Anyone know what the the Trainz Simulator games are like? TS2010 seems quite well rated, but I'm a bit hesitant to pay $27 for a game that just lets you ride trains and build railroads. Does its scope broaden out beyond that, or is the complexity of the game deeper than what I understand?

Me too. I've heard there is singleplayer with bots, and the campaign is decent, though multiplayer is a barren wasteland.
I guess the question is - is it worth it?
