schmea: Any chance Gamersgate will match the price? (or, how can we ask them?) I'm not a huge fan of Impulse and would rather support Gamersgate.

lowyhong: You can drop them a letter at support at gamersgate dotz com and see how it goes. The support staff at GG are less predictable due to their unique nature of taking 5 minutes to actually read and manually reply emails, so you might get something out of them.
Thanks... I did this, and will see if they're feeling generous. I don't blame them for not matching it, since there's little chance they're making money at that price, but I'll cross my fingers.

Thanks also to KavazovAngel, I would have tweeted them, but I'm still without a Twitter account.

If you still have it, id like to claim it. I played the first one years ago and have never gotten the chance to play the second.

Steam ID is StonerMk2

99 cents is soundtrack not the game. :)
Gamersgate has a lot of new deals this week, among them are Empire Earth 1 Gold for $2.40, Empire Earth 2 Gold for $4, and Tropico Reloaded for $3.5.
Nothing really interesting on Gamersgate this week though, sadly. I'm hoping they'll get Precipice of Darkness 1 and 2 on sale, and Rainblood too. That will make a very happy man out of me :P

7.62mm might also be worth checking out in today's 1C deal. I'd already bought it months back, but never had the time to play it.
Nothing much on Gamersgate at all this week. In fact they've really dredged up some crap in there. Ceville doesn't look bad but it's [insert currency here]5, which is off putting even at that price point.

Tropico Reloaded seems like a very good deal too. Even if you're only really buying it for the first one and the expansion.
1914 Shells of Fury is at a good price and drm free at gg. It's very tempting. I know it is not Silent Hunter 3+4 quality, but it is the only WW1 sub sim out there.
World of Goo is $10 on OnLive, if you don't already have it.
1C are telling me that there will be 60% off everything here tomorrow.
Got no clue about the DRM though.

I think the whole collection was 75% off last Xmas sale on Steam with some games getting special sales even. (even had a moment where the whole collection was 20 euro or so but sadly I failed to realize the awesomeness of it before they changed it :( )

In any case, 1C collection I still highly recommend Space Rangers 2 Reboot and the King's Bounty Series for people who don't have one of those.

I wouldn't mind hearing some other recommendations for that collection ^^ Men of War perhaps? I doubted on that one last year.

MoW is a game you will either love or hate.

Best way to think of it is this: Men of War is to Company of Heroes as ArmA2 is to Bad Company 2.

The latter is much more polished and focused, but the former provides so much more freedom and chaos.

These two reviews provide a pretty good overview.
