Smannesman: Are those HOHOHO and RUDOLPH codes no longer valid?
I tried entering them and it wouldn't accept them.

gyokzoli: RUDOLPH works for me in the UK site, I haven't tried HOHOHO at the US site. Maybe these are one use only for one customer.
I used HOHOHO on the US site yesterday and it worked fine for me!

Oh right, I see. It's just a crap site.
Even though the only two country options are US and EU, if you go directly to direct2drive.co.uk you end up on an UK site.
If it'll let me perhaps I should just buy a game there in GBP with the promo code.
Cryostasis for $3 / 2.49 Euro / 2 Pounds.

Today's TT deal: $50 for S&M, W&G, SBCG4AP, PA, Bone, Poker
As an Aussie, can I buy the games on D2D that aren't region restricted, or do I need an address in the UK, EU or US?

If it says available worldwide or available in countries and it lists Australia, then you can get it. It depends on the game.

ahh damn can't decide if Empire is worth it..

I played Rome and Medieval, and liked them, but i've played a bit of Empire, and it looks plain in terms of tactics..

BTW i'm referring to the $16 package on green man gaming for Napoleon and Empire+all DLC. It registers to steam

I can't find a single UK based proxy that works, D2D constantly flags games as restricted on IP =/ D2D US on the other hand, works fine with proxy I tested.

I could probably get Mafia 2 that way with the 20% of code if it registers as a retail key, but I'm not convinced =/

thank you so much!! I was going to buy it full price a pair of days ago, so happy I didn't.
This game already have 3 free DLC on his official website http://www.academagia.com/

EDIT
I've just bought it but on my card it charged 6,23 euro. Not a big problem but is it the same for all of you (euro zone) ?

The DLCs are in fact in the patches. So as long as you keep the game patched up to date, you'll have the DLC content. Although patches have a nasty habit of breaking saved games.

Impulse will always charge you with US dollars. That 4,71 € price shown in the store page is Impulse's own conversion; Your bank usually have a different (and more expensive) conversion rates (plus maybe currency conversion fee). A little bit disingenuous on Stardock's part, really...
