It's practically half price to begin with. So when you look at it like that you've got your quarter price game.

Nigardliness is both a great and terrible thing, no?

lowyhong: -edit- A quick Google search shows no DRM but the requirement to have the disc in the drive, but I just want to make sure.
It's important to note that W&G and ToMI are exceptions to this rule. The games on the W&G disc are literally just the DD versions from the website online activation and all. ToMI is a good exception though, no DRM at all, not even a disc check.

EDIT: Whoops, replied to this during my catching up on the thread and didn't see your post about the W&G DRM until now.

Pheace: or 90% off!!
Frictional are really some cool guys, who definitely deserve the money.

That said, I'm still not sure whether to buy the game... I've seen an LP of it, and I nearly shat myself. I am absolutely 100% sure that if I play it, I won't be able to sleep for weeks - months, maybe.

Why put oneself through that?
Yeah, the problem with Frictional is not that they make bad games. They make good horror games; So good, in fact, that people are terrified of buying their games. :D

StonerMk2: Ah i see. I love the DoW games, own the collection and still playing through them. Though my personal favorite is either Winter Assault or Dark Crusade. Will definitely have to keep a eye out for that Gold collection for CoH. Sounds like it be fun, especially if its like DoW.

Azarr: Err.. CoH is more like DoWII. Just on a slightly larger scale.

Anyway, if you want to find out if it's anything for you, you can always try Company of Heroes Online first, considering it's F2P.
Of course there are differences, but the overall gameplay is pretty much the same.

You can always buy the CoH and the expansions if you are more interested in the campaigns or the two additional factions.
Actually I think Company of Heroes Online has the original singleplayer thrown in for free.

The first/original campaign.

But it's also somewhat broken last I tried it. Not anything gamebreaking, but it can make the later levels just a bit more difficult.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent is $10.00 for the weekend on Steam.

I can't stress enough how awesome this game is.
