Holy crap. It registers on Steam too. So no GMG constant reactivation DRM.

Holy crap says it all, that deal is definitely pretty nice. Are there any issues with GMG games that activate on Steam? I know Steam has various policies about buying Steam based games from other companies.

None, same deal as GetGames. You get an activation key and use it on Steam the same as you would a retail copy.

Thanks...Gotta pass on the deal anyway, but it is good to know there haven't been problems.

Anywho, I guess I will post a deal again (it's been a few days)

GoGamer:

Two Worlds II
$44.90 (Originally $49.99)

Can you possibly just buy from greenman, get the steam code and download off steam without ever needing to install the capsule client?

chautemoc: Every respectable shooter fan knows Battlefield. :P
Wouldn't recommend it though, couldn't get sound on Win7.
Actually, the last shooters I enjoyed were UT99 and Counterstrike/Team Fortress, when they were at most 4 years old.

Thanks, (and StonerMk2) Ill give it a pass. Sounds like GoG has better deals today with Red Baron and Broken Sword anyway.

The GetGamesGo version can be added to Steam? I simply downloaded the game from them so if it can be added to Steam it's not required. As for any GMG deals, I'll pass. Not wasting my time with them.

No I was referring to Steam games sold on those services. The version of AP sold on GG is UniLoc. I have however bought Civilization 5 from GG and that came with just a CD Key and the download tab directs you to download Steam.

Foxhack: Regardless of the ah... argument we had earlier in this thread, I'm thinking of buying Wallace and Gromit.
Just to let you know as a heads up, the W&G DVD is the only TT game which requires online activation, in case this sort of thing affects your purchase.

Thats what I do, the keys I gave away for the Steam comps I posted were bought via GMG. No client as the key is emailed to you and is on your account page.

Did your version of Civ 5 register as a retail version? Thinking of getting Mafia 2 from GetGamesGo. 2K have apparently confirmed that keys registered as retail should work, even here, despite Valve still refusing to remove the pre-purchase from the store.

So the next question is whether it's worth buying. I watched a video review and collision detection seemed pretty bad. The AI enemies acted pretty stupid also.

That's nice, although I would never touch those two other games.
Still a bit apprehensive though, because of all the negativity towards the game.

Anybody have any thoughts on Aaaah on Steam?
Two bucks isn't much.
