DelusionsBeta: Nah, they use Metaboli, last time I checked.

Navagon: Isn't that a rental site of sorts?
Yeah, although they do full downloads as well. Although last time I checked GAME was still running a white-box Metaboli rental service, so they might have changed providers when they dumped the rentals (CORRECTION: they still do rentals). Although, now that I check, the URL (game.gamesplanet.com) and the "Powered by Metaboli" logo is a bit of a giveaway. And looking at the support pages further suggests that the GAME download site is basically a reskinned Gamesplanet.

According to the support pages, they promise "unlimited downloads" pending some restrictions (their example: if 20 different IP addresses download the game, they'll block downloads until you e-mail support). There's also a mention of "manual activations" on the question about installing offline.

Cool, been waiting on a deal for AaaaaaaaAAAaaa, etc. Don't own -- nor to plan to buy anytime soon -- New Vegas but the others are easy enough to complete. I'll probably buy Undergarden eventually but will hold off for an even steeper discount.
Telltale's deal of the day is 50% off everything in the store except BTTF and Poker Night.

Regardless of the ah... argument we had earlier in this thread, I'm thinking of buying Wallace and Gromit. I also kinda wanted the Bone games so I could have a "full" Telltale set, but I don't know anything about that series and $7.50 + shipping per game set seems a bit too steep for what may be the length of a single Sam and Max episode.

Impulse is trying to flog a Battlefield 2 collection (looks like 4 games probably US only) for $14.99. Anyone heard of it?

There are also 20% off coupons floating around that could potentially bring the price to $11.99 - thoughts?

Nothing special price wise. The same set at retail sells between $9.99-$14.99 in canadian stores. The set itself is solid however.

Every respectable shooter fan knows Battlefield. :P
Wouldn't recommend it though, couldn't get sound on Win7.

This late getting into Battlefield 2 is a mistake. I purchased Battlefield 2142 Deluxe Edition last year from EA's site and basicly got screwed over on a 20 dollar purchase. The CD-Key for the game and expansion didnt work. I emailed support several times but they always found a way to skate around my question or return my question with a totally unrelated question of their own. I finally got tired of it, uninstalled the game and have not purchased another EA Digital Product. Not worth the hassle imo.

I'm very sure that the expansions are free with the latest patches. Good deal though.

Two thirds correct. Euro Force and Armored Fury are free. Special Forces is not.
+1 to foxhack re wallace and gromit. People need to think more about implications of actions.

Some time ago, I discovered that a game trial contained a serial code within install files that actually allowed me to unlock it to the full version. Rather than leak this fact, I contacted the company. Have they fixed this error? No. Do I consider this license to spread the details everywhere? No. I don't care about the threat of prosecution, I feel uncomfortable at being the person who enables people on a large scale to own a game without paying for it.
You can now activate your Humble Indie Bundle on Steam! Expect e-mail from them with key.
