Am I the only one turned off by Impulse's 'search/browse' ?

Every time I get to that page I just give up, it's crowded and often mixed with apps. It just discourages me from continuing to browse.

Whats so good about Armada? Ive seen a ton of people suggesting it, honestly id rather go for Sins Trilogy. Any outstanding qualities about Armada or is it just a cheaper Sins type game?

(Not asking in a dick-type manner, just generally curious.)

The 1C advent calendar marches on. Today is Vivisector for $3 (80% off). It is DRM free, but I've heard that it's not so good. Here's the link, probably only good for a few more hours:

Later today @ GfW Marketplace - Blacklight: Tango Down - $0.99

Mastertronic aka Sold Out Software is having a Christmas sale, where certain games are price slashed. Of note would be Heroes of Might and Magic V, which is only 3 quid right now. Then there's also their "Buy 2 GBP4.99 games, get one more free" promo which I think has nothing to do with the holiday season, but is cool nonetheless.

Anyone purchased direct from them before? Any negative feedback? Are their games laden witih DRM? I've emailed them regarding that last question, but they've yet to reply.

No idea. There probably is some kind of DRM.

Not for every game, methinks. Probably not with older ones like Dungeon Keeper 2, but there's a likelihood with Heroes V, which I'm interested in picking up.

Meh, I have no idea. First glance at the store page gives me the idea there is.

Great game, with not so great load times, which is my only issue with it.
