sebarnolds: Someone should contact Gamersgate so that they update the price of Machinarium and we could all buy it drm free.

By the way, the version on the official website includes the OST as mp3, do the steam and gamersgate versions include it too ?
IIRC they only offer the OST from their own store (Amanita's) because they want to encourage you to buy from them. Too bad they offer limited time downloads because I forgot to download the Linux binary in time.
Kaptain Brawe is 20% off on Gamersgate, bros!

What? Price cut in half so soon after release? ...
Seriously people go get it now, it's a DRM-Free bargain right there.
I'm tempted to get one of the Hidden Objects games as a gift for my wife. We've never played any - where would be a good place to start? My wife likes crime novels, CSI, cooking, art. She hates horrors and rather dislikes SciFi. Any hints?

Oh, she also likes Zuma, Bejeweled, and Peggle (though she said it wasn't worth full price - she only played the demo).

EDIT: One more question from me (re: Bigfish). What are "Time management" games? Does this mean "click frantically on the right spots"?

From the games on that list I really enjoy Drawn and Mystery case files series. You can try every game on that site for 1 hours so you can chose which game you and your wife can enjoy the most. Time management game are game where you have to manage something like a shop and you have to give the right order to charaters (exemple: first clean table, then receive order, then prepare food, and so on) and became freaking quick after some level. Try some of them and see if you could like them.

I add another deal for black friday :)

Dammit, is there any game on that BFG's best games list that is NOT a hidden object game or time management games? I already have Drawn: The Painted Tower, and I like those kinds of games. :|

Guys, what kind of DRM does Torchlight on GamersGate? I see its SecuROM, but what kind of it?

It is still on sale on Steam too, for the same price, and the DRM there seems to be only steam. Bought it yesterday, enjoyed it very much.

Steam... singleplayer non-Valve game... :)

Exactly why I'm asking the question.

I like to have most of my games in one service, I find Steam convenient even for a single-player non-valve game.

You have Steam Achievements if you care about it, steamplay and it is available for mac too.
