And everyone who wont preorder it immediately will get kicked in the nuts....but seriously this is amazing game and if want to do something for yourself and your PC pick it up. It will be released on November 30th and if you will preorder it on steam you will get bonus character Head Crab from half life series.
Bodyless pointed out in another thread that Gamersgate has sliced Alpha Protocol a second time, probably in response to the Steam sale. It's now $7.50. Perhaps I shall purchase it.

Smart.
Maybe Steam will go lower again and soon it will be 50 cents everywhere. :P

Only reason why I'm struggling to pre-order it is because I have it on XBL and am supposed to be saving money. Still probably gonna pre-order.
Is Prototype any good on the PC? Is it worth my 14,99?

It's as good as it was on the consoles, but apparently a lot harder.
Is Indie Energy Pack on Steam worth it? I haven't heard of any of those games.

I'm not sure whether to buy Prototype of not. On one hand it could drop further in price in the future, and I'm in no hurry to play it. On the other hand this is Activision, and rarely does anyone have sales of Activision games.

I was on the fence at the earlier GamersGate price, leapt at the Steam price (I don't mind the Steam-DRM, so no big deal that GamersGate is now slightly lower)

Honestly, it feels a lot like un-CommunityPatch'd VTM: Bloodlines. A game with a lot of potential, but a horrifyingly half-assed implementation.
Plus, the stats and skills for Thornton are kind of weak (no real incentive to grab many since I am stealthing).

Oh, and do NOT buy this if you don't have an XBOX 360 controller handy. I really don't think it is even possible to do the hacking minigame with the mouse/keyboard. I find myself pausing and switching to gamepad controls every time I see a hackable (then switching back).

StonerMk2: Hey Rohan replied to your PM but seems the site is down. Got a messenger i could contact you on? Steam or Xfire would best for me.

To not totally derail the topic. WoW deal looks great for the few that dont already own at least the base game and BC
Seems you aren't on my Steam friends list. Just give me your email and that game you want is yours.
Pre-ordered Super Meat Bot and bought that indie pack thing.

It's totally possible, but not altogether pleasant. The kb/mouse controls are sufficient in general, but not at all accommodating. I still prefer kb/mouse overall, but I'm stubborn.

Can someone please explain to me why Gamersgate has Hearts Of Iron 3: Semper Fi on sale, but not the main game? It just seems so...stupid.

I'd say yes. It's great fun, though it does get repetive rather quickly.

How could 5 games together for a buck each not be worth it? :)
Quantz is a great puzzler but my personal favorit is Galcon Fusion. A rather simplistic idea behind it, but I really enjoy it for a quick battle - which usually ends in wasting a half hour or more.
If you're unsure: 3 of the 5 games have demos available on Steam, so give it a try.

I've to agree lol. On the brighter note though, this is what I'm planning to do: my last paper for the semester ends tomorrow. After that I'm going shopping for a whole bunch of retail Paradox games, including HoI3, then picking up Semper Fi from Gamersgate. I'm thinking of burning Semper Fi to a disc after that.

WHOA. Am I glad I didn't buy it earlier. Snagging it tomorrow.

I'm still recovering from the 500 deaths I incurred in vvvvvv. I can't handle another 500 at this time. When it's $5 I should be fully recovered and ready to buy.
