Navagon: Isn't Latin America the region that's getting screwed over with awful pricing schemes on Starcraft 2? I haven't paid the game much attention. But I seem to remember that being mentioned.
Yeah, got screwed by way of having the game valid for 180 days only, after you activate it. They sell the game for R$49 (kinda US$28), but if you want to validate the game forever you need to pay an extra R$69 (US$40). IIRC, this new retail pricing scheme is also used in Russia. At least they localized the version with full portuguese voiceover/subtitles, but, they changed the original keyboard shortcuts.
I would wait for a discount for this forever-activation, but knowing Blizzard... A discount will never happen.
Today I got very, very surprised by this free weekend news. It's great because more people get to know the game and even purchase it legally after the free period... but, at the same time, I felt stupid because I paid for it and now people will have even the SP for free.
