michaelleung: I just think that you could simply buy a massive portable hard drive and you can fit your crap in that. You could probably save money over time unless you have *that* many games you have to buy like, a million hard drives or something.

Navagon: I had an external. It died. Everything was lost. If a DVD gets damaged somehow (which is a lot less likely) then I only have to redownload that disc's worth of games.
I think he was talking about backing up which implies you keep another copy elsewhere.

I kept DVD backups then too.
Ireland is in a much worse of a state than Greece. I have said it before if this happened in the UK the government would have been kicked out. They took a prosperous economy and destroyed it. Higher taxes, less benefits = 1980's.

You realize the sarcasm in the post, right? Most of the civilized world still uses discs with shiny bottoms.

Lol, man, I thought you were serious and I was becoming depressed because I highly depend on my DVD writer. XD

I did. It was also a perfect opportunity for me to use that picture.

Gamersgate 's weekly sale seems to be RPG games.

Games like Beyond Divinity, Gothic II, Spellforce 2, Loki, A Farewell to Dragons or The I of the Dragon.

I am quite interested in The I of the Dragon, can anybody tell me something about it? Is it good?

The control scheme was a little annoying but for the current price, it's worth getting to try it out for yourself.

Apparently it's "Dragon Week". Which is a cool idea in my opinion =). Too bad I already own all the ones currently in the sale that I'm interested in =/.

You're propably right. Though most of them are RPG.
There is something relatd to dragons in Beyond Divinity? I played it only shortly but nothing indicated any dragons in there.

I encourage all who haven't to pick this up. However new star's email states existing users will get this upgrade for free which is very nice considering they've added a lot to the new version. New tracks, weapons, music, course hazards and online multiplayer. They've also added standard modes that were sorely needed like time trial and custom tournaments. My favroite addition is putting in a restart option.
