chautemoc: Shattered Horizon and Lead and Gold: Gangs on the Wild West will both be free to play and half-price to buy on Steam all weekend. ...
If you happen to live in Northern California and there is a Fry's Electronics nearby -- they have very reasonable priced USB sticks that come with "free copy" of Shuttered Horizon (there's a small card with Steam code on it packed with every stick). 16GB stick costs $25. It's Patriot Memory brand, not the best one but definitely not the worst.

Really now? I'll keep that in mind.
Thought I better share this, I use this site now and again. They had Icewind 1 and 2 plus exp for 2.99 too, but that sold out.

Trine has been released for the Mac on Steam just now! The game now supports SteamPlay so users get both the PC and Mac versions of Trine with a single purchase.

To celebrate the launch, Trine is 75% off November 2 through 4 on Steam. Here's the direct link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/35700/
Anyone notice that Direct2Drive really hasn't had anything flashy in awhile since the middle of the year sale?

Don't bother. Trine is $6.14 on Amazon and the retail version contains no DRM. Students also get free shipping.

But that only applies to US customers, doesn't it?

If it doesn't apply to you, then go for it.

Yeah, I know, what gives? I hope they aren't failing. I have some games bought from them but haven't downloaded them since my computer can't play them.
