Well, considering I'm using XP and the people complaining all seem to be using Vista or 7, that aspect doesn't bother me personally. Although I can understand why they'd pull it.

Tried Dark Fall: Lost Souls? It looks very scary, but I'm holding back my purchase on Gamersgate, because I'll be getting a boxed copy via eBay.

Downfall is also very good (just ask TheJoe), but it's not on promo. And then there's the free adventure game The Marionette which you must try if you like adventure games - especially considering I don't normally recommend free games.

Also, if you don't mind buying games from Gamesplanet (Adventureshop), take a look at the Delaware St John series. They are *very* short games, mind, but they are good for what they are - highly atmospheric, creepy first-person point-n-clickers like Myst. I'd buy them in a flash if they were sold on Gamersgate.
