Edit: Just as littlle information, all prices in the shop are without taxes. So for me the price goes up from 7.65€ to 9.10€ (19% VAT tax).

torchlight is on sale at runics website for only 10 bucks. still on steam for 20. deal ends today. I just purchased because I really wanted to buy it after playing the demo but didnt want to spend 20 bucks. lo and behold it is on sale.

go get it now, its a great diablo clone.

A pretty good game. It's let down by the fact that it's being crammed into the increasingly cramped Xbox which takes a toll on the controls and the map sizes. But I found it enjoyable enough to be worth the money. It's just not a game you're going to be coming back to in years to come.

Try the demo first. I found it to be very, very bland. No scenery whatsoever just a very small top down square of land in which to chop things up in. If you want a fun top down zombie mashing game get Zombie Driver instead. It's infinitely better.

Please buy these from Frictional's shop. It may be a bit more than at other stores, but they keep all the money.

Agreed. I appreciate the work the devs have put into it, but it just isn't a very compelling game for me.

I definitely had to grab the Overlord collection for $7.50, never thought that would drop below $30.
I'm not impressed by the current sale.

And only Overlord has a good price, $1.24.

Hmm I'm not very fond of playing demos of $2 or $3 priced games, better watch the trailers and video reviews of the full game.

That's what I always thought about this game, very bland. And Zombie Driver doesn't look thaaat much better to me.

Guess I'll spend my money on Alien Breed 1 and 2 when they get discounted, I like the more the theme. Or Alien/Zombie Shooter series, but I don't know if they have been massively patched or ever needed patches.

Larva Mortus is a very similar game which I think is pretty cool....but not 'ten dollars' cool when other more wonderous things, such as Never Winter Nights Diamond, exist for the same price at the same time. =D

It plays a hell of a lot better and is well worth the £3 that's commonly asked for it (including probably now). It was never a £30 game, true. But then the price should reflect that.
