Catshade: It's billed as a weekend deal, so I don't see it on the front page yet, but Steam has STALKER bundle (Chernobyl+Pripyat) for 75% off; the individual games are not discounted, however.
Great. I already own Chernobyl. Screwed out again.

taczillabr: I've never played Nation Red, but will have a look since people here are saying it's good.
It's actually kinda fun. It plays kinda like... Geometry Wars. Melee is kinda broken, but it's a nice "Let's blow up everything on the screen" way to blow off steam.

taczillabr: IIRC there's a kinda "definitive" edition of Divinity 2 coming soon, with the game and one or two expansions.

Exactly, that's the one I referred to. $39.95 only? Nice.

And then I guess this is the one Bansama was talking.

GG is really going up in 2010... watch out next year, Steam.

Yup. Naturally, I don't need to buy the $39.95 complete pack, as I already have Divinity II =)

The expansion doesn't include the remastered stuff for the base game though. Dunno the status of the possible patch they were talking about.

Well, the expansion mentions that it requires the base game and uses a new graphics engine. So unless it's a standalone that just requires the original to authenticate eligibility to play, that seems to indicate to me that the base game will also be updated to the new engine.

Not a huge problem to me either way though, considering I got the base game for the amazing price of $0.00 ('twas one of the games GamersGate gave me to test download speeds with after the 26+ hour download hell that I experienced with Sacred 2 Gold).

No, I remember reading about it on their forums..said it would require a patch.

Yeah, Steam is blowing tons of sales out their butt right now.

I definitely had to grab the Overlord collection for $7.50, never thought that would drop below $30.

I would personally advise you spend your money on something else

I played the overlord games myself and the first one was painfully medicore while the second one was pretty bad

I'm just a little worried that the second one might not run on my rig. I better go check the sys reqs.

I recall the Overlord bundle being cheaper on Steam this year; maybe $5 dollars?: http://www.steamgamesales.com/view-comments.php?id=158

Regardless, still a great deal.

Edit: damn, top of the page.
