KavazovAngel: ^ I don't know if we are talking about the same .NET thing. :)

I was talking about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework

carnival73: It's the same thing.

if you ever have to install a copy of XP before Service Pack 2 and find yourself in the situation where you're sitting there with Task Manager open and playing Space Invaders with a massive onslaught of Service Hosts, every once in awhile you'll trip one where you'll get a message from .NET authority that says you did a no no naughty and that is not the way they want you to use your computer and they give you a termination and reboot countdown.

For .NET Authority to have the authority to terminate and reboot my computer when I don't want MY computer terminated and rebooted.....well that's just a little bit too much 'authority.'
Stop being so paranoid. Your windows pc is much better off having .net installed.

Yeah, sorry, you're right. It's gone way off course.

A simpler and shorter answer to the question is that .NET is pain in the butt but it's a necessary installation in order for a lot of software to function.

taczillabr: Finally an acceptable (regular) price for these packs, $7.50. A few weeks ago GG also did discounted them to $7.49 IIRC.

Even with this price I'm not buying them yet, will get them at $5 or less each pack, as they don't really include classics only.

Also noticed that none of the Sonic titles are included in these packs, maybe they'll make a Sonic series pack later?
Hahahahahahaha. Ahahahaha. Knowing Sega they'll try to sell the Sonic games for $10 each.

My only problem with all the free giveaways is having to setup an account. Just let me download. I do not have the time or patience (or memory) to be creating accounts and remembering passwords to a site I will never visit anyway.

I understand your feeling this way, but Telltale isn't giving this away for *free*, they are discounting it to zero(semantics, I know) to entice you to buy either the season, or another of their products at some point in the future. While your cost is the same, I'm sure Telltale's accounting treats *free* versus discounting to zero differently.
Plants vs. Zombies on PC for 4,99 euros or for iPod Touch for 0,79 euros. Which one to get? Does the PC platform give anything special or is it as well played on iPod (other than screen size vs. touch control)?
